Studio One Salon — Attraction in Kennewick

I always wanted to get my hair done at this studio, drove from Seattle when no one else could do this color. After it was finished I almost cried I was so happy. Something that she said after styling my hair was DO NOT USE HEAT ON IT!..I didn't realize this at the time, but SHE DID. That was the point she realized she FRIED MY HAIR! I didn't need extensions,bc I had great thick long hair. She FRIED it with bleach and weeks, months after my appointment I started to realize it was thinning. People kept asking me if I cut my hair. I didn't realize it right away, but slowly over time. I have lost 40% of my hair!! It's heartbreaking. The break off started right under the color line. It's unmistakable! It's going to take years for me to grow back my hair. I had to get a halo extention hair piece bc I feel so bald. I've been coloring my hair blonde for 20+ years and have NEVER experienced this. The worst part is paying a lot for what at first looks great only to lose half your hair after the honeymoon stage:( I don't know why they'd allow this to happen bc every time I tell my story, the person doing my hair says the same thing.. SHE KNEW SHE MESSED UP! Something needs to change. Please if you're thinking about getting your hair done there.. JUST DON'T!!! you will save yourself $ but more importantly the absolute HEARTACHE that one decision will end up costing you.. YEARS!!Idon't know when my hair will ever grow back :( it breaks off at all different lengths and I have been told to chop it all short so that the breakage will stop crawling up higher. Again. we were there to do my wife's hair and oh boy what a horrible experience that was my wife has a very long hair reaching her knees , so first we started with Ricky then we end up with Gayle at first my wife's hair is brown little dark but she been doing it for 6 years now as blonde no problem but not this time and not at this place we thought these reviews were real so we went there they end up frying my wife's hair and half of it were on the floor after they wash it and since then we were asking them why that happened no one telling us why we thought we r dealing with professional staff there and we did trusted them but we were wrong gayle kept saying don't know what happened she refunded the money back to us but this far away from money its a result of 16 years of working on making it this long !! now half of it gone in couple days !!! we went there couple times trying to asking them for help or how they gonna make it right at lease helping her growing it back but no one really care and the joke is the owner she was there and she heard everything but she didn't care either we even ask to speak to her and she told her assistant that she is busy she never offered to meet with us , that was the worse experience in our life ,I will say we will never Recommend this place and I'm gonna share my story with every one...

Horrible!! Had wedding hair and makeup done for myself and my daughter. The wedding hair for myself was fine. The hair for my daughter was falling out before we even left the salon. My make up looked absolutely terrible. I was not even made up by an employee of the salon. It was a friend of the hair stylist. The makeup did not match any other part of my body and it just looked really bad. It was all up in my hair and my scalp stood out because my skin was tanner then the makeup applied. It looked so bad. I wasn't going to make a huge deal out of it the day of the wedding being I didn't want to cause any trouble on the brides day. BIG MISTAKE. I contacted the owner and she was pleasant at first. I was requesting a refund of my money spent on the makeup and my daughters hair. She then came back at me telling me that someone in the wedding party was rude to her receptionist and apparently the receptionist cried and that because of that she would not be refunding my money. Doesn't matter if people were rude. The salon provided inferior services and not even by an employee. We were also charged more then what the bride had told us she was quoted and we all had the texts to show that but no one at the salon seemed to really care. OVERPRICED FOR SERVICES RECEIVED!!!!!!!!
