Where to start I was so excited to eat Costa Vida food because I Love eating here but not today today I was so disappointed. I ordered the quesadillas with rice and beans with the sweet pork option. The rice and beans were fine. That’s not the problem. The problem was my quesadilla. It was so big because they didn’t even bother to cut it up into four pieces. I could barely hold it with both my hands the pork meat and the cheese were not evenly distributed I literally had chunks of just cheese in sections and nothing nowhere else! It was extremely greasy as well. It was so bulky because of all the pork which OK that’s fine, but could you please cut my quesadilla into sections how it’s advertised, how it’s supposed to come! It was literally just this big blob. There was no thought or care in my dinner. Also, just the way that they wrapped it in the aluminum foil…ugh! It’s like they folded it into sections and just shoved pieces of the quesadilla in there and called it a day. Basically it was just a hot mess and of course I was not at home to cut it myself, by then it had gone cold and I was over it. Needless to say this is the last time I’ll be coming to this Costa Vida location. And if you don’t take my word for it the picture says it all. Oh and fyi that tear at the top was me trying to cut this...
Read moreI walked into Costa Vida 10 min before closing tonight and the staff was immediately helpful and respectful considering the woman before seemed to have been ordering enough food to feed an army. This giving me the opportunity to observe not only the staff but most importantly how they were protecting we the customers and their own selves during this pandemic. When it was my turn to order I had noticed they also supplied speakers for our communication built in to the plexiglass that was wedged between us. These speakers were helpful for them with their ceiling fans going full throttle behind them. With height being a factor for the speaker for a 5ft woman (not average) with masks on between both the staff and myself my order was taken incorrectly. When noticed, the staff immediately responded with a sincere "no problem"! Leaving and getting in my car I noticed the time now was 9:15. I normally do not wait for the last minute to grab a quick bite, but it does happen at times. I apologize to the staff for being "that one who came at closing", but I was very impressed with Costa Vida on 27th in Kennewick tonight. Thank you for a pleasant visit and a very delicious meal. On another note, I would have to add that I would love to see you bring back wheat...
Read moreSmall portions for the price. The way you order is wack. No one cares if you've never been there. Felt very rushed. Heaven forbid I asked questions. The queso tasted like bean dip. Horrible. Not any type of queso I've ever had. Mom was equally unimpressed. We ordered a taco salad and got a tortilla as big as a dime at the bottom in a dinky aluminum tray...that just got soggy and nasty. Confused how I was supposed to taste a literal teaspoon of cheese. Flavors were so dull! Not worth the price at all. So sad we spent 40 bucks on 3 people and we all came home and made popcorn we were still hungry. Gave it a 2 cause mom did like mango salsa. But was sad about the size. I see a picture with a tortilla coming over the sides of your fancy aluminum dinnerware as a salad that's what I expect to get. Heaven forbid you splurge on your guests with a bigger tortilla for a TACO salad. Couldn't find my meat either. They shoved it down to the bottom of my salad. Not nearly enough meat. All flavorless...
