My wife and I are new to Kenosha and was excited to try this restaurant because my employees suggested it and gave it high marks. We were about 30 min early but they sat us immediately which was great. That's where the greatness ended. We sat, and waited. Another couple came in about 10 minutes into our wait, was seated and was immediately tended to...drink orders taken. And we waited. After almost 20 minutes I told my wife we were leaving. We stopped at the hostess and asked where our waitress was, and she was actually shocked that no one ever came. She asked a waitress whose booth it was, and she looked confused, like, someone was at one of my tables look. Anyway, we left. The thing that is hard to understand is, there were 4 or 5 waitresses, and on several occasions while we sat and waited, I made eye contact with some of them but it never sunk in that we were not waited on. This was not a good introduction to the "finer" places in this city. We will try others and hopefully have a better experience. I know if I owned this place and knew that money just walked out, I would not be happy. Reputation is everything...or in...

Phenomenal food. People aren't kidding about trying the French onion soup, it is great. My boyfriend absolutely loved it. I think I would prefer if the cheese were gooey. I had the bisque soup and loved it. Main courses were the aji tuna poke bowl (special of the day) and a burger. We loved our meals. Dessert was meh (peanut butter cheesecake and carrot cake). Service was great. We reserved online, and when we got there our table was ready and we were seated promptly. The server was friendly, knowledgeable and checked on us every now and then. I would come back. We would skip dessert next time (although you don't need it after the meal... We were full, but we wanted to try the whole experience of the restaurant). The only downside to this restaurant is how SMALL it is. Definitely get a reservation, it gets busy. And be prepared to be seated a foot away from another table. Oh, and the drink was way better than I expected (apple pie mule); it was refreshing and not...

This used to be a great place but not anymore. I don't know of management changed or what but they have gone down hill fast, Just went to dinner there and wanted to order the halibut but don't eat mash potatos so I asked for the rice which I have done before several times. I was told by the waitress that they can't do that and I respoponded that they have done that several times before and the rice was offered on a less expensive dish. She came back and said the rice would be a $7.00 surcharge. Now since the rice was offered on a less expensive dish and it must be available, I can't understand the excessive surcharge. I guess any business can do whatever they want but they just lost a loyal customer and I will let everyone at the marina know about this. I wasn't asking for something that was special or not available just something that they had already offered. So for the manager, you just lost hundreds of dollars in business for $7.00....

One word…. DELICIOUS!!! We went to Wine Knot with some friends of ours. My wife and I had been to Wine Knot a number of times. As a matter of fact it was where we had our first date. Our friend had never been there. We made reservations… highly recommended to do that. It was a Friday night and pretty crowded. We had a great table. The service was incredible. We had the BEST waitress ever! Very attentive, fast, and friendly. Our food was delicious. I believe we ordered way too much, but we didn’t care. Deviled Eggs and Spinach Artichoke Dip for appetizers. French Onion Soup and Wedge Salad for the second course. Our entrees were Grouper with tater tots (one of the specials), a Cheeseburger, and Pot Roast. Everything was perfect. We were way too full to eat any dessert. We highly recommend Wine Knot Bar and Bistro!

I had been waiting a long time to come back here, maybe 7+ years. This was knot it. No pics of the apps, had the Butter Chicken Dip (Don't) Wasabi Deviled Eggs (Do). Dinner was the Salmon (Do) Duck and Portobello Stroganoff (Don't ever even think about it). The portions were big, too big. It was a lot of food you didn't want. Stroganoff maybe would have been ok if was served on a plate of noodles Instead of like Hamburger Helper mixed and slopped in a huge bowl. Maybe then you could taste the Duck and Mushrooms. The prices were a little high for the quality. They tried on presentation and service was nice.
