🚫Its never dirty, 🚫disgusting, 🚫no fights, 🚫nobody doing/selling drugs

Your complaining & your decision 2 see ONLY the bad in (everything + everyone) around you, is not helping the situation, NOT making this library safer 4 your children or your community's children, it's NOT solving a darn thing! I will never return to this library again! I was in the middle of printing a very important document before closing hours and the computer completely turned off. I ran to the front desk to ask if they can print it and she refused. I told her the computer turned off right as I was printing and I couldn't finish the task. I told the front desk lady I could email it to her from my smart phone, it is literally ONE PAGE and she refused. It was 6pm and 15 seconds and she couldn't just print it. That is ridiculous. I just got off work, fought through traffic, waiting behind 2 trains to get there before they closed and she couldn't print ONE PAGE that I could email her from my smart phone. There was no compassion given and there were SEVERAL other people in the library still working and she didn't kick them out but she couldn't print just ONE PAGE. And the person next to her was no help either, just stood there and offered no assistance but to say come back at 10AM. I need this document right now, 10am will do nothing.

Utterly disappointed. Never again...

I love libraries and have visited some really great ones, but the Kent branch is NOT a library you should visit. As others have mentioned, there is a huge problem with people not respecting what libraries are for. People bring in food from outside (either their own or fast food) and just eat like it's their home, which smells really gross. There is zero respect for quiet of a library. People talk as loud as they would outside or at a cafe, the kids run around screaming as if this were a kindergarten class. The restroom doors have to remain open, the toilet stalls are 1/2 tall, so you get to watch people sitting on the toilets doing their business. It's just all around very gross and unpleasant place to be. If you have to go, plan to be there only as long as necessary and then...
