If you want to give someone new to Kent the best possible impression, Kent Station is probably the nicest place to do so... especially if using public transit.(busses+sounder train)
Restaurants are generally a bit more expensive than I expected, seemingly just because they are located here at Kent Station... prices are not outlandish, just a little bit higher than other areas. ZFor example I don't think they charge as much for sushi at other Trappers franchise locations than they do at this one... I could be wrong but menu items se to be just a few dollars more.
Parking lots and garage is big but still manages to nearly fill up, not to the point where you can't find parking, but only might have to park a distance away from the store your going to.
Traffic is somewhat confusing and poorly designed but still fairly ok. Delivery trucks and clueless drivers can really disrupt the flow of busy intersections and one ways so please be smart and pay attention to your driving and think of how your movements affect other drivers. 🚗🚘🚕
Have fun, drive smart, pay attention, and always respect...

Nice selection of dining options and there is an AMC theater. Conveniently located close to everything that you could easily walk to downtown: -The Sounder train station and King County Metro transit center -Kent Public Library -Showare Center -Kent Commons -Old historic downtown shopping area -Kent's Farmer's Market (during summer months)
1 star off because parking can be challenging sometimes. You may have to drive around and park a little distance from where you intended to go.. There is a parking garage on the property, but M-F, it is filled completely with commuters until the first afternoon train about 3 pm. Also, do not be surprised to see after every Sounder train stops and passengers disembark, backed up traffic for about 15 minutes or more because a large number of cars suddenly leave the garage all at once. I recommend staying away from the garage area on weekdays...
Read moreIf Kent has a downtown this is kinda what you get. The mall has a variety of small shops and numerous restaurants. It of course has the movie theater. It is across the Street from the Kent Community Center and the Court House. It is near the bigger of Kent's two ice rinks. It is just down the street from the library. There is a park with fountains nearby. Actually a few small parks nearby. It is an easy walk to a lot of historic Kent/Titusville landmarks. It is a nice and well connected mostly outdoor shopping mall. There is a good amount of parking both in various parking lots as well as the multi floor parking garage. It has a bus transfer hub with a number of busy stops and the Amtrak line and other rail run right by it. For EVs there is level 2 charging, but there is DC Fast Charging only a few hundred feet away. It is a little off the freeway, but not bad. And there are roads...
