This is a small park but it's very scenic. There's a parking lot at the start of the park, which has a pond in the center. Beyond that, there is a wooden gazebo type structure, and that's about the end of the park. I often see people walking their dogs here or bringing their kids to run around in the grass.
When it gets warm, there are a lot of ducks around and people show up to feed them. Towards the rear of the park, there seems to be trash and debris, which could have been left by homeless and transient individuals. On the wood flooring under the Gazebo, it looks like someone may have lit a fire to keep warm and burned a hole through the wooden floor planks.
Along with discarded alcohol bottles, graffiti and the creepy wooden stairs that extend down from the street level above, be aware of your surroundings and careful to supervise your children at all times in the rear area of the park. Otherwise, the open grassy areas are...

This is would be a perfect place to take a date during the spring or summer and just be one with nature. There are benches you can sit on just beside the small lake and listen to the water and watch the ducks & geese . This really is just an amazing park to hang out at and let the kids roll down the hills or feed the ducks. You def have to make time to visit this place.
