R. T. Facts in Kent curates a truly unique collection of anything you might consider art. You’ll find most anything you can imagine, and even things you couldn’t imagine, in this expansive 8,000 square foot barn space. They have things like nowhere else in the world. You’ll find pieces from all over the world, from different time periods, and from different medium. Most of their items emphasize either ‘found’ or ‘designed.’ Some of the things that caught my eye: a 19th Century continental library ladder, a handmade birch bark canoe, a 19th Century Chinese cast iron tub, a fully reconstructed cow skeleton painted in all white, a 19th Century carved wood life-size track horse display, an antique rosato marble bathtub, and a monumental carved wood clock sculpture. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. Even if you have no intention of buying anything, you can marvel at their collection of artifacts.

One can get completely lost in RT Facts - in the best way! The vast showroom has almost more than you can see in one visit - and on every visit (go often) there is something fresh and distinctive added to the studio. From antique garden benches and containers to contemporary gesso chandeliers designed by the in-house team, Natalie and Greg set their design store apart with their own brand of quirky chic. Artfully curated and displayed, the eclectic furniture, lighting and home accessories are arranged to feel like an antique salon or a cabinet of curiosities. RT Facts is the secret you need to make your home and garden look like got first pick of every estate sale and fabulous flea market ('cuz they really did)!!

RT Facts is a highly unique and innovative company with a breathtaking array of antiques and products, from hand-forged pieces to rare marble antiques to monumental sculptures. They take the time with each client to ensure that what they custom design for them is exactly what they're looking for. Their 25 years of success in business is proof of their unique and eclectic eye for design, the relationships they've nurtured with their clientele, and their integrity and commitment to their business and their customers. The gallery and their shop are must-sees if you're visiting Kent.

I moved to the area over ten years ago and stumbled across R.T. Facts as I drove by the "Shop" space on South Main street and nearly caused an accident ... from the awe of what I saw out in front of the building! - the most magnificent ginormous armillary and giant zinc wall plaques and statues! Since that day I always find the time to stop in and browse through the incredible finds that they have eclectically procured. The additional gorgeous gallery space at 8 Old Barn Rd does wonders in showcasing the talents of the design and craftsmanship of their locally made furnishings - tables, mirrors and lighting mixed with the rare and unique antiquities and modern finds. When I needed a really unique architectural piece in a recent 18th century renovation project - I knew exactly where to find what I was looking for - and I DID! ...
