Getting to Sunset Point is an easy walk from Mammoth Cave. The trail is gravel and decked the entire way with loads of places to sit. plenty of benches and a few areas you could have a picnic, if you wanted (still on the trail). On the evening we visited, we didn't get any big color splash, but it was very enjoyable.
