I have to start by saying I had really high expectations for this place because I was a frequent visitor to the previous business for almost a decade. So that is making me a little biased, but I was fairly disappointed in my experience yesterday. I popped in for lunch and while it’s great that they’re doing buy one roll get another 50% off, the fact that they’re charging almost $8 for something you can get for $4 almost any other sushi place was a little shocking. I ordered the salmon roll expecting it to come with the rice on the outside like the California rolls for that price. I was stunned when they brought out the maki rolls. I do have to say they were really good, and wrapped perfectly so that they ‘popped’, but didn’t warrant the price they were listed. The miso tasted good but was lukewarm. I’m glad I didn’t wait to eat it last like I am used to doing from it being so hot. The woman working was very friendly. The prices all around were a little high (almost $4 for a single piece of seared salmon nigiri, not 2 like usually come for that price) I don’t think I’ll try it again, AA sushi is just as good and half the price. They don’t have a lot of things on the menu either, so hopefully they will be expanding their menu the longer they’re there.

Ordered Salmon box and it was so cute how it was displayed and for the price it was pretty good. It came with a bowl of miso soup and salad. We asked if we ordered online for pick-up if the soup/salad sides will come with it, and they confirmed they do. Udon noodles were nice chewy texture, the broth was very tasty and not bland. Mixed poke bowl was confirmed yummy by family member :) Fish tasted fresh and not fishy. We have a family member very picky on fish. She is not a fan of raw fish except for spicy tuna rolls. But tasting some of the mixed poke, she confirmed no fishy taste or smell, she was able to enjoy the food. Very cute small restaurant, went after 5pm on a Friday so it was not busy. But the road to get there was busy due to costco shoppers Feb 9, 2024 Friday 5pm

Such an amazing restaurant! The food was unbelievably fresh and delicious, and the service was incredible. They also accommodated a gluten free member of our party very well! Overall this place is absolutely a hidden treasure. If I could give 6 stars I would. I hope this restaurant gets more publicity because it is the best sushi restaurant in all of the Kirkland. I am not even exaggerating, this restaurant was an absolute 10/10. HIGHLY recommend!

The food and service were wonderful. The staff were soft-spoken and friendly. I have some food allergies so unfortunately, it's hard to find sushi places around here that can accommodate me without griping. I ordered a tamago roll and an eel roll with no avocado (due to an allergy). My boyfriend ordered a dragon roll and they also asked if avocado should be left out (but I clarified that the dragon roll was only for my boyfriend). They were very thorough about it. I wanted a grapefruit ade, but they don't do takeout for those, but that's okay because I can try it next time. The restaurant had a nice and quiet atmosphere while we waited for our takeout. The ginger tasted a bit different than what I'm used to, but everything overall was really good and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely...
