Urban Haircuts — Attraction in Kirkland

I've gone to many hairdressers over the years for a men's haircut because I have difficult hair to work with and often end up disappointed after the appointment. However, I decided to try this place out since I worked down the street back in 2014, and I'm very glad I did. Mila does a fantastic job! She really knows what she's doing, and is very knowledgeable. Even when Mila isn't available, I've seen she always strives to find the best hairdressers around, as the others there that have cut my hair, have also done a fantastic job. I moved about 40 minutes away, but will gladly make the drive everytime I need a haircut, because in the many years I've gotten my haircuts from Mila and Urban Haircuts I've never left dissatisfied in the slightest. I've gone to the expensive, fancy hairdressers, to the discount places, and have always left feeling like I have to cover it up somehow or fix it, as well as being frustrated with the prices but Urban haircuts have very reasonable prices, especially for the quality of the haircut. Great place! Very clean, cool and open design, and TV's just where you want them to pass the time during a cut. Ultimately, everything comes down to the stylist though.

I had never visited the business before, but I would follow my hairstylist anywhere! Rita Dadyan, or my hair doctor as I call her, is just the best and she started working there about a year ago. I'm a bartender and so I always want a hip haircut; about five years ago I decided I wanted to start growing out my hair to try out the old man-bun, and so I knew I wanted to find a hairstylist to guide me along on the hair journey. I found Rita, and told her what I was planning. She guided me from a number four all the way to several inches past my shoulders, keeping it looking great in every stage along the way (even the awkward, in-betweeen lengths). It's layered, healthy and looks great. I get compliments all the time!

This place is ridiculous! The lady I had for a partial foil literally placed all of 10 foils on my hair, left me under the dryer for way too long and then charged me $140!! Not only did I leave with hair that didn’t even look foiled, it was falling out!! When I complained to the owner, all she would do was offer me a free conditioning treatment. Because of this virus, my usual hair dresser is booked for months so I had to find someone who would schedule me. After finally visiting my usual hairdresser (3 weeks later) she could NOT believe the work the lady had done on my hair. Not only is it unkind, it’s pure robbery!
