Mark and I shopped $244 foods on May19 including a big Frozen Durian which costed $30.28. Second day we thawed out and open it, found it’s rotten inside, Mark immediately took a picture in order to show the store next time when we go shopping. June 4th, we went shopping and bring the big rotten fruit back to showed the staff working there, also showed them the picture we took in May 20. One young lady staff told me, you can change a new one. Then I selected a new one bring to the checkout counter, the manager was there, he told the young lady No change. And then he said: “who knows when you took the picture, you put in the Fridge for two weeks waiting it rotten just took the picture?” I felt what he said it’s insulting our dignity. For 30 dollars, we need to do something like that? Except May19, Every time before that we went there shopping spent at least $300, even there were something not so good and satisfied we have never returned or changed anything, because it’s not close to where we live. We took the big rotten durian back is the first time. Because this is about food’s security, we should tell them the problem and reimburse our money or change a good one for us, hope they will pay attention to those fruits next time. But the manager measure another’s corn by his own bushel. Let me felt personal insult. He refused refund also refuse to change a new one, this is what happened to us. Since this disgusting thing happened, I will not go back to Jason’s Asian Market shopping any more. we have never met a bad service with so arrogant and domineering attitude like this in USA, No matter Whole Foods Food Lion Walmart Publix Bravo or Giant Eagle…… of course, we met many this kind of person in evil CCP controlled China. Apparently the manager brought this bad business...
Read morePrices are too high and the store smells bad due to the fishery going on within the store. I occasionally stop in to see if they have new or interesting products but will no longer. I bought some jasmine green tea which I though would be good quality since it was more expensive than the other brands. When I tried it it smelled weird as if it had been sprayed with jasmine scent and smelled more like an air spray than the kind of jasmine-infused tea that I am used to drinking. I brought it back the next day and spoke to the person in charge who could barely communicate in English. After much nonsense- talking (half of which I did not understand) he handled the tea with the nasty gloves he had on, smelling it, touching it and mumbling, Then he pointed to my receipt and stated "no refund" which I really was not asking..I just wanted a different tea that did not smell so bad. He literally turned around and ran away. I looked at the cashier who appeared as perplexed as I was and was about to leave when he came running back with some hot water and proceeded to brew some of the tea, taking a bag from my package. All the while he spoke but I could not understand him. He then drank the tea making faces that it was so good. At that point I had enough of the circus. I simply said: "exchange yes or no?" and he shook his head no. I gracefully gave him the tea he had so rudely touched and sampled then left. I will never return to this store and highly encourage you to find some place else to shop where you will receive adequate customer service in a hygienic...
Read moreFrom its modest beginnings, Jason Asian Market (better known as Jason's Best Asian Market) has become one of the premier Oriental grocers not only in Kissimmee but south of the Orlando metropolitan area. This modestly-sized store packs a punch in the sheer amount of inventory that it carries. From seasonal fruits and vegetables to spices and canned imports, and prepackaged baked goods and pastries to kimchi and tofu, Jason's Best offers Asian kitchen staples that larger Oriental grocers offer but on a smaller scale, and at competitive prices. Be on the lookout for items on sale throughout the store, often sold at steep deals if purchased in bulk. Because the utmost maximum of space has been dedicated to product placement, the aisles can feel claustrophobic during peak business, so shoppers are encouraged to visit earlier in the day or be mindful that most aisles are unable to accommodate two small shopping carts side by side. Customer service is typically friendly, though occasionally brusque and aloof, but overall better than most Chinese-owned grocers. Jason's Best Asian Market is...
