Kitty Hawk Pier — Attraction in Kitty Hawk

Horrible horrible experience. Wedding event was taking place which we completely respected the privacy of the event. Was rudely told about the event and we Did not interrupt the event. Event staffer with horrible edges and brunette hair was completely rude and stated that we weren’t welcome there and that there was a sign which we understood and left. Sign stated event would finish at 6 on which we respected and decided to wait for 10 minutes so that their pier could open up and we could see what service they provide for events. While waiting the lady with the brunette hair walked outside and threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave. Extremely rude service. We respected the time for the service but how we were treated while waiting for the event to finish was completely unacceptable!! Management really needs to evaluate who they represent because the timeless saying” it’s not what you say, it is how you say it” did not apply! We were only trying to see potential venue for our own future events. Thanks to her we will NOT be using their services in the future!!! we are staying a half mile down the road from kitty hawk pier and decided to drive down to fish. when we arrived we saw private parking only, so we decided we would park and then ask the pier workers if we could purchase a pass. before we could get a word out of our mouth the worker told us we weren’t allowed to be there bc it’s for hilton guests only(in a snarky attitude). to us, we were like whatever🤷🏽‍♀️ it was only after he said “you didn’t see the million signs we have?” that made me upset. there is no signs stating we have to be hilton guests. only private parking. after giving us attitude, we paid and he gave us car passes to put in our car. ???? all he had to say was that unfortunately we cannot fish or park here and direct us to a public pier instead OR that it’s going to be $10 to fish but tell us we need to be hilton guests next time. as i was reading other reviews, it seems that this guy is mean to a...

From the planning of my wedding to my wedding day Miha went above and beyond. I knew she was the perfect person to work with and that I chose the right venue when I cried seeing how beautiful it was. She made planning a destination wedding especially during covid SO easy and was so quick to respond. There was never an email/text/call she didn’t respond too. I don’t have anything but amazing words for this woman and her team. The food was delicious and everything went as planned. It was easy to enjoy the day and know my guest were in great hands too.
