BLVD Ice Cream Co. — Restaurant in Southern Shores

Our group of 6 came in 8/30/24 to order ice cream. We were the only people in line. Other people were sitting at the tables. 2 of our friends were still deciding on ice cream and my fiancé walked didn’t want to cut off our friends while looking at the ice cream and walked behind the rope to meet our other friend at the register. My fiancée walked straight to the register next to our friend who was also checking out to show her his play dough ice cream and pay. The woman at the register began yelling at my fiancée “NO! NO! NO! NO! You can’t do that. You need to walk back in line and follow the sign directions. You can’t do that here. You need to walk back to the back of line and walk through the line to get to the front”. So he physically walked back to the back of the line, cut in front of our two friends, and met our friend at the register, again…Him walking to show my friend his play dough ice cream did not warrant her level of response. Everyone in the building got super quiet after that. We were all taken aback by the level of yelling and anger towards him. If we were being rude, loud, etc, I’d totally get it. Super...

Our entire vacation crew went here after dinner at Steamers… very cool inside with places for the kids to take photo offices lifeguards at the beach, plenty of a variety of hard ice cream to choose from, milkshakes, root beer, floats, pretty much you would expect from an ice cream place. my son got the orange Creamsicle, the other got a vanilla milkshake, and I got a vanilla milkshake with rainbow sprinkles mixed in.

While I did not partake, the kids in our group gave this a perfect score, so that has to be worth something! Soft serve and hand scooped were popular, shakes were very highly spoken of. The crew were young, but seemed nice. They were very friendly to the young kids in our family. Thanks! Higher recommendation than some of the other shops found...
