I went in today to purchase a few items that were on sale including a paper shredder. I could not find it in the section for shredders. I went to look for an associate for some assistance. I saw two associates assisting a young lady. One of them did notice me waiting but did not acknowledge me and continued talking to the young lady. So I walked away looking for someone to help me. I noticed an associate hurriedly walking so I quickly said "excuse me, might you be able to help me?" He stopped and with a heavy sigh said "with what?" Now, when I asked the cashier for his name (Curtis) and mentioned he was rather rude, she apologized and said they were busy. I yearn for the days or cities for that matter where customer service is top notch. It seems everyone thinks because this is such a small town and there isn't much competition that you can treat people like there needs are unimportant. I don't mind waiting extra, but when you tell me that you cant do the job because you have a lot of people ahead of me makes me think you just don't want to do anything at all. I understand stress, and I understand working alone, but I've never once made a customer feel like they were imposing or that they should just do it themselves or go somewhere else cause we are just too busy for you. I have been turned away from the counter and told to go find someone else on more than one occasion, even when it was an issue regarding a fax. The day before yesterday I dropped off 14 pages to be scanned onto a thumbdrive. I was told it would be at least 24 hours because there were 14 other customers who had dropped off things to be scanned but they would call me as soon as they were ready. 29 hours later I finally call them only to be told that my order was just sitting on the counter waiting for me. I get the thumbdrive home and only 9 of the pages have been scanned. Unacceptable service...
