⏳️Opens at 9am Closes at 1pm on Saturdays. 🚗Parking at Market Square Garage was FULL by 11am. I recommend using the Locust Street Garage, around the corner, if the MSG is full. ⛺️There were plenty of interesting vendors from arts/crafts, like wooden bookmarks, jewelry, pottery, soap/skincare and art, to grocery vendors. 🍅They had vendors selling organic goods and gluten free goods. ⛲️They have the splash pad on for the kiddos as well. Families with kids and others with dogs hung around the splash pad which is an excellent opportunity for your family/kids/dogs to make new friends.🐕 ❤️My overall experience was well. There was a very large crowd, but it was always in motion. I do not know if the setup varies by week, but they had grocery vendors near Wall Avenue & on Market Square heading towards Clinch Avenue. In-between (near the Women's Suffrage Memorial) was where you could find the arts/crafts vendors. On Union Avenue, heading towards S Gay, they had a few vendors but then at the end was mostly food truck options. 🩺Not the most Ostomy friendly. There are businesses nearby with restrooms if needed. It's very crowded and hard to get around people if you're not moving in the general flow. 🩺Not the most friendly for the immunocompromised. I recommend wearing a mask 😷 if that's your thing. I personally did not touch anything I did not intend on purchasing and did my best not to get too close to anyone. I brought hand sanitizer that I used when I did touch metal or anything else I was worried could have harmful germs. I also wore a long sleeve shirt (as it was cool that day) to use instead of my bare hands...

A “hobby” my husband and I have is to try to visit farmer’s markets whenever we travel. The Market Square Farmer’s Market is probably the best one we have ever visited. The offerings are all top notch. There is always unusual and outstanding produce, things that you can’t find in a store. I occasionally have to ask “What is that?” And it may be a rare berry or an unusual variety of mushroom, squash or cucumber, or a type of egg I have never seen before. There are freshly made dog treats, sauces and spices, baked goods and a small amount of high quality arts and crafts. The people watching (and animal watching) here is great! You might see the cutest dogs (or cats, or goats, or a squirrel riding on his friend’s shoulder…). There is often live music or parades here. There are multiple restaurants where you can eat on the patio while watching all the goings on. We feel so fortunate to live close to our favorite...

This was EXACTLY what I was looking for in a local farmers market. There is a solid selection of both locally produced food and crafts. The food can be either produce, which all looks high quality, baked goods, honey, packaged sauces, and there are some food trucks tucked away in one corner. (TBH, I'm not sure if they're officially part of the market, but they're there.) There's also coffee, usually from about 3 different vendors, but Three Bears is hands down my favorite. The crafts aren't hokey at all. There's quality woodworking, some art, soaps, etc. There are also freshcut flowers and some potted plants. Parking is free downtown on the weekends. My family goes as just an event/outing kind of thing, but we get something different to bring home each time. Most of the vendors I've bought from accept either cash or credit, so that headache has been avoided...
