Value City Furniture — Attraction in Kochville Township

This was our first time shopping at Value City Furniture and by far it was the least complicated experience we’ve ever had. Our oldest son got his first apartment and we gave him our couch so we needed a new sectional for our living room on short notice. The last two couches we purchased were absolutely horrible experiences. We decided to try VCF. After finding a sectional we loved online, I tried to purchase it, however there was an issue at checkout when trying to do a split payment. I called the store and spoke with manager, Carlos, and explained the situation. When he rung up the sectional on his end, it came up about $125 less than what it was online. He assured me if I came into the store, I would be well taken care of. So later that day I went in person to place the order. He told me to ask for Tyler. It was actually better that I ordered in person because Tyler showed me the sectional and we got to see the fabric swatch, touch and feel the fabric and sit on it before purchasing. Tyler was very helpful explaining all of the warranties, the production and manufacturing of the sectional and the difference in the foam and comfort options. As we needed this sofa quickly, we decided to go with the foam option and a stock fabric. We placed the order Saturday morning and our couch arrived the following Wednesday. We chose to pick up our delivery and now I’m typing this review on our new sectional. This was the fastest we’ve ever received a sectional from any retailer and the pick up process was extremely easy as well. All in all, everyone we came in contact with at this store was amazing to work with, including the nice woman in the finance department who set up the order and delivery to the store. I have been coming to Value City Furniture and other furniture stores several times over the past year. I have consistently found the furniture here to be great quality with the most modern features and have found the most knowledgable staff here at Value City. Looking for the same type of item in multiple stores in the area, I consistently found the most quality and modern features here. The staff here are friendly and seem to have worked in the industry some time and can explain in depth the quality, parts, style and experience with each piece of furniture. Terisa spent a lot of time with me sharing her input on several items. She is a natural with interior design, putting styles and colors together, focal points of a room, what specs to look for on furniture, and figuring out how best to furnish based on my specific needs. Her advice, detailed explanation and time results in positive outcomes with my selections. I have also spent a lot of time working with Brian. He similarly has taken the time with us to answer our questions in significant detail to our full understanding. He is very knowledgable about various options and the pros and cons of each. He can explain in depth various levels of quality and hardware that are on any given piece of furniture. He shares his experience with each piece of furniture as far as peoples preferences, his observations, and user experience. This is my go-to store...

I need to give a HUGE shout out to Tyler "Crispy" Liske & Carlos of Value City Furniture in Saginaw. They both helped me alot but I'd also like to explain a bit more in detail how Tyler helped me, as we worked to together to find what I needed & than Carlos provided last minute help/details to complete my order.

Tyler "Crispy" Linske is a stand up guy. His values & morals still shine through at work. He was able to help me save some money. He had a smile the whole time, he was kind & humorous. Mind you, I walked in stressed to the max as I needed multiple items for my new place. He walked me through everything, very patiently. He price compared. He is certified in bed sales to be able to find the right bed for you based on any back issues, which I do have. The whole experience was just so pleasant & a huge stress relief off my back.
