I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times over the past 2 years and every time they manage to always mess up my order!!! I came in today with my home girl and her 2 kids and got food and the waitress was ungodly rude to me on a few occasions. First I ordered a drink with no ice and got ice. That’s the second time that’s happened. Second our wings were cold and third I miss understood and thought she was being out fresh wings for the girl I took out and I asked the waitress not realizing that she only brought one box of wings out and asked “are these her wings” and she got extremely loud, rude and mouthy at me for a second. I was gonna let it slide and take the disrespect but I sat there for 15 to 20 seconds. Thought about what she said to me and then took a deep breath and threw my hands up in the air and said “get me my check” she then went to the back and had her manager for Sunday 03–03-2024 of the day handle me. She went out and was also rude to me! One thing about me, I’m the type to always apologize even when something’s not my fault! I’m a super nice guy and I apologized to the manager and she said to me “well there’s no reason to swear at my waitress because your wings were cold” I said that I get that I never swore at her waitress and even asked my home girl if I swore at her and we all agreed that I did not swear at that waitress. The manager continued to be rude and defend here waitress saying “my waitress isn’t rude” I walked and did swear on that occasion and said “I’ve been here 3 times and every-time you always F up my order” and walked out. I called back 15 minutes later and apologized again! And explained to her and with a witness that I did not swear at her server and explained she was rude to me. She later asked about my 3 other experiences which I never called on! Including my the one on 11/5/23 my birthday when they also messed up my order! And also did not call on that one. And then she basically said it was a complicated order, I’m just trying to get free food and then hung up the phone before saying “have a nice day, we’ll see you again” in a rude demeanor. I honestly feel like it was mildly discrimination and racial profiling because my home girl is white and both her kids are mixed. She honestly made me feel as if she was I was broke. I can show back statements of my bank account if she thinks such a thing. I also work and go to school full time and have many opportunities going for me in life. : ) but right now it’s spring break in college and I wanted a little vacation and to grab a bite to eat and enjoy myself. I’m very hurt for my mistreatment on my 3rd occasion being here. I will be making some phone calls to corporate and others to make sure something is done. Because I definitely did not deserve that attitude over a misunderstanding. Later my home girl explained to me that the girl whispered in her ear that my fresh wings were almost done. I thought she was saying she was getting my home girl her wings fresh too. My friend explained that she told her about my wings because I was on the phone. I would not be taking this so far if she would have been nicer to me in a simple misunderstanding with all the confusion. But it’s a little too late to turn back because the manger wanted to not descale the situation.
No matter how upset I am about this it’s still not gonna ruin tomorrow! We’re going to Ann Arbor me and some buddy’s and take out our Polaris slingshots and have a great day! Although Buffalo Wild Wings ruined my Sunday. My Monday is gonna be a...
Read moreIt was my first time eating here. I tend to over-order when exploring new food establishments because I want to try as much food as possible. I ordered a bacon smashed hatch chile burger (which came with fries), a meal of two loaded bird dawgs (basically a boneless chicken strip in a hotdog bun, which also came with a side-order of fries) and the ultimate nachos.
The burger was excellent. The bacon was not overpowering, nor the spiciness of the red peppers. The other toppings and sauce added to the flavor but didn't drown out the meat. The size of the burger patties was good and thick. Messy, but not overly greasy, like a good burger should be. I might have liked it cooked a little more, but it was still very good.
The chicken strips in the bird dawgs were nice, juicy and tender, though being placed in hot dog buns made them a little drier. These were supposed to be "loaded" but their was just a tiny bit of limp sautéed onions at the bottom of the bun, and a very, very little sauce. This sandwich is why I came to Buffalo Wild Wings; I saw an ad and thought it looked delicious with a LOT of sauce. The sandwich I actually received was absolutely disappointing. I have no idea why it's supposed to be "loaded"; it came with so little.
The fries came in two different containers for the different meals, one container containing half the amount of fries. The fries were limp, greasy and cold; very much just filler. Bland. Garbage fries.
The ultimate nachos were anything but ultimate. They had a small amount of chicken bits, a light drizzling of sauce and a few pepper and onion bits. I'll allow that I should have eaten this first, as the chips had soaked up the moisture and become limp, but, even allowing for that, these were just a bland waste of time and money. The chicken added nothing to the flavor, and there wasn't enough sauce to bother. Bland. I don't know why this was "loaded", but it seemed rather the opposite.
This cost $37.70, ordered from the website, with a mandatory tip (which I've removed from the price above). I have no idea why I'd tip my waitstaff on a pickup order. Tips are for good service. I received none. Just the standard blank, bored stare from the guy at the front desk before he went to pickup my food from the kitchen.
As for the amount of food, these were fair lunch-menu meals; slightly filling but not leaving the eater feeling heavy. That being the case, and the fact that I didn't order drinks, I feel the price I paid is roughly double what the meal was actually worth. For half the price, I could have picked up a good pizza and felt happily full, having eaten enough to satisfy me all day long.
So, while the burger was good, all the other items were not worth ordering, and everything was overpriced. Sadly, this restaurant is not...
Read moreGuest check #800032 Hello, Just to let you know I'm in the food industry and I've never, ever written a review. That said, tonight was awful. My husband started coming here when this place opened, when Rob ran things. It has clearly since changed. We were indecisive as to whether or not we were going to eat. I was starving but hubby had a bit of a late lunch. We decided on the Nachos (being a nacho connoisseur, who could 'F' this up?). We received our nachos, the shredded cheese wasn't melted, the queso was cold and I'm not even sure what kind of chicken byproduct that was. We sat at the bar where we always sit and she did, in fact, do a 'table check. My mouth was full and my husband hadn't tried them yet. We both agreed, they were terrible. I was so hungry still so I was picking at the naked chips. There were a lot of them. The bartender then asked if we wanted to take them home. My husband then spoke up and said, "they can go in the garbage!". My husband, like myself, never complain about our meals. Our bartender then proceed to take the entire floor staff outside and upon returning, they all looked over at us with dirty looks AND our bartender automatically gave us the bill...we weren't even finished yet plus the nachos were still on there at full price, interesting! Oh and the bottom was cut off where the QR code should've been displayed, hilarious! Management has been in the office since we have arrived around 4:30pm. The staff have gone out for numerous breaks, they are constantly on their phones, eating behind the bar AND people were waiting at the door for over 5 minutes before someone acknowledged them. What a brutal experience! I've been in restaurant management for over 20yrs and this is unacceptable.
We rec'd the new check, the Nachos are now off. Not because they were junk and disappointing, but because there's a promotion with points or something...what?? So we used our points for the nachos?? I digress!
Today is may 19th between 4:30-6:30pm I think the corporation can figure out who was on the clock at this time.
Sincerely, sad and...
