After visiting this place over the weekend I can confidently say I will not be returning. When you first walk in you’re directed to these nice touch screen computers that have all their waiver info you’ll need to fill out. Page 1 is your basic first and last name, dob, phone number, and email address. Page 2 your home address(a little personal but ok). Page 3 your drivers license number(extremely personal and unnecessary for jumping on trampolines). Once coming to this page I backed out of the waiver and asked the young man at the welcome desk. After asking him why they needed that info, he couldn’t give me a straight answer. Another girl next to him then said if I read thru the waiver on the last page, it’ll tell me why they need that information. I was also informed that I HAVE TO fill out their waiver to even go back and watch my family. A little concerning but ok, I read thru the waiver. There was nothing about why my address and driver license number were needed. Being that I didn’t have my drivers license on me to jump on trampolines, I put in a number that I thought could’ve been my drivers license number. The computer accepted the number and I went back to the front desk and informed the young lady(brown hair, blue or green eyes, and freckles) that the waiver didn’t have anything in it about why they needed that info. I was then told again that I HAVE TO fill out the waiver or else I can’t go back. At this point I had done the waiver and informed the young lady that I’ve had my personal information stolen before and it concerns me that they demand all that info just to jump on trampolines. Also since that information is all on a computer that’s connected to their network, it’s more at risk to being stolen from outside sources. Now before someone says it’s not connected to their network just think, if you fill out their waiver on the website it’s connected to their network. Being that this is a independent company, what’s going to happen with my extremely personal info? What will they do if their network gets hacked? Will the owner assume responsibility for all financial or legal matters if your info is stolen from them? Will the company even contact us if their systems get hacked? If you’re not worried about it just think what someone can do with your a fake drivers license in your name. They can get ticketed and get your license suspended. They can purchase firearms in your name. On the 4473 form for purchasing a firearm your state issued ID is all that’s needed. Your social is optional. Anyways, I informed the young lady that I was concerned since I’ve already had my identity stolen once and I’ve possessed(no longer active) security clearances when I was active in the Marine Corps, that can not end up in the wrong hand. She ignored my comments and the girl standing next to her asked if she gave me the military discount before swiping my card. Come to find out I was denied their military discount but even worse, that same young lady had already checked in the rest of my family and was informed that I was a guardian for my nephew and since it was toddler time I was suppose to get in free but did need to purchase their socks. I got a refund for the time I was charged and the young lady was very rude during the whole check in. Morally this company is in the wrong and they know that. So my one real question for the owner is what are you doing to protect your customers personal info? Because with the amount of information you’ve demanded, you are now responsible for that info. Also to back my personal opinion on this matter, I’ve contacted all other trampoline parks in Indiana along with many other recreational(mini golf, bowling ally, laser tag, and shooting ranges) sport facilities and none of them demand a drivers license number and very few even ask for an address. The closest thing to needing a drivers license to participate was at bullseye and the guy I spoke with said he looks at your state issued ID to utilize their range to make sure you are the one who filled...
Read moreUPDATE AT BOTTOM If I had the choice I would not even give 1 star for this review. If you are thinking about hosting your child's birthday party here, DONT. When we checked in we told the front desk that this was our first visit and asked what all needed to be done. All they said was that we needed to finish payment and when the parents drop off the kids they just need to fill out the waiver and we would be good. We even arrived early to make sure we would be able to have our full jump time. At our reservation time we we started to move toward the trampolines but were told we needed socks, which were not provided to us. So we had to go back and get socks. Then when we went out onto the floor we were then told we needed to get bracelets. So my sister went to get bracelets for the kids so they could continue to jump since we had already cut into the time of their jumping for the socks. So she brought back the bracelets and we put them on the kids. Not even 10 minutes later we were harassed by the workers again saying that our group could not jump because the kids were not checked in. At this point my sister and I were growing quite frustrated because no one had told us any of this and the kids jump time was completely taken away from them. Not only were they not allowed to jump but they accused my sister of 'snatching the bracelets out of the hand of the worker.' We then asked if they had cameras and if we could review the tape. They said no, of course. At this point we just wanted a refund since the kids had barely jumped at all and it they were almost out of time. We were told that they don't give refunds. I understand that they have procedures for things but if you want a business to be run properly you don't have teenagers working the front desk who have not been fully trained. And you certainly don't have managers that are not on the floor on a busy Sunday afternoon. I am a manager myself and the way this was handled was beyond unprofessional. I was not the only upset parent there either. Multiple parties that afternoon wanted refunds and agreed that they would never be going back. We went ahead and stayed for the pizza and the cake that we brought. The manager did say that the kids could jump for an additional 15 minutes because of the trouble but when the kids went to jump, we were told they couldn't be on the floor. All in all, it was terrible and I definitely do not recommend this place. I will certainly not be back.
With your response I think you have just shown everyone how you treat your guests and how you allow your employees to treat your guests. But yes, I would love to see that footage that shows how many "lies" I told. Also, yes, I did speak to at least 3 other parents that were hosting other parties there as well and they stated that they wanted refunds as well. I am not trying to 'Scam' anyone, least of all a trampoline park. But again, you definitely just showed your true colors with...
Read moreI’m so sick of seeing negativity from dumb people! We have been here twice now, without any issues! Kokomo finally does something for school age kids and all people do is complain. Well drive an hour out of the way to save $2 on entry because you just wasted $10 on gas idiot! People are mostly rude when they have been rude too, so look in the mirror. Now on to our experiences. We went first when they just opened. It was nice but there was still some construction going on, we understood cause we’re human. When we made our daughters Birthday Party here they were more than accommodating to us. They reserved a VIP room for us, they let us bring in our own pizzas and drinks. So stop complaining about the price of bottled water...You could’ve brought your own in! Can you do that at SkyZone or any of the others? For the party they had a list at the counter for people coming to the party and they made a tab for the people jumping. This let us worry about the party at hand and let us pay the tab half way through the jump time. I think this was a very professional way to handle the party with lots of people and we couldn’t be happier with the way we were treated. Our daughter had the best Birthday Party she has every had thanks to Gravity. We will always come back and give this wonderful place our business! Thank you Gravity and thank you to all the staff...
