Went to get my hair done with Katharine Solis, she said she could do platinum blonde like I asked, she wasnât able to color my roots the first session so she told me to go back the next day to finish her work, I did as she told me, everything was okay. But then next day I went and she did highlights on my roots with bleach and then left me there for more than 40mins as she went to her break and left me alone, it seemed that she wasnât in a good mood. When she came back she put more bleach on my hair and then said it was getting gummy so she had to quickly rinse off but my hair was so processed it started to FALL OFF. When she was washing my hair I heard her say something along the lines of âthis was bound to happenâ and went to the trash to throw away chunks of hair that had fallen off. I wanted to cry when she started to brush my hair and she told me it was very delicate and that I shouldnât even brush it, as I stood up I saw the floor covered in my hair and I touched my hair and as I smooth it out it wouldnât stop falling. There was another client there and she was also surprised on how long strands of my hair were falling off from the root. I told Katharine and she said it was normal since she had bleached it, I was so mad that I wanted to leave, but she kept saying that it was completely normal but Iâve had my hair bleached before and it is not normal, I use to have a lot of hair (I remember Katharine saying how I had hard strong hair) but now pieces of my hair are missing around my temples (my hair now parts from those sides as you can tell from the picture) and my hair volume is so small. She over processed my hair and now I canât even brush it because it breaks from the root or even straighten it since it looks so little hair.    Read moreJust had the worst and rudest experience here. Booked a "complimentary touch up" on the Ulta website selecting this location, and I received multiple confirmations for it. This should be a 15-20 minute makeup application or tutorial to help someone find products in store. I booked this for my daughter's 14th birthday so we could find her some new products. Upon arrival, I was reddirected to the rear of the store to speak with someone in the beauty department. The lady who greeted me was rude and told me she had no idea why I was there or what the appointment was for. She told me that this is something people on the floor do, and that they have no idea why I would book something like this and that it isn't a service they offer. I showed her my confirmation and the website and she continued with a rude aggressive tone telling me basically my appointment is pointless and to go find someone to help on the floor. She did this all in front of my daughter making the situation very uncomfortable and awkward. If they canât answer my question they donât just guess and product push they find someone that can answer me better. If they see me buying something I donât need for example I got an it cosmetics cc cream (which doubles as a concealer, foundation, moisturizer and spf) the sales woman saw I was also debating on getting a concealer from the same line and informed me the cc cream I was already buying was also concealer so I didnât waste the money on it. I ended up buying a nice lip stain as well with the extra money by tarte and I had another experience when I couldnât decide on a foundation and a employee gave me samples of a couple to try at home before I decided so I could see which worked better with my skin type throughout the day. I was ready to buy one I was unsure of but she earned a return customer and made the store more money in the long run that way she was the one that initially got me hooked on ulta.
