. My husband and I are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and flooring. This task can become stressful at times but rewarding in the end. Searching for items, shopping locally and online, discovering so many styles and options and comparing prices has given me endless possibilities. I can't say enough about how refreshing and inspiring it was at every turn to shop with the staff at the LaQuinta floor & Decor. Every visit and there have been many, I was greeted with friendly authentic hello’s and offers of help. I have been to the design department at our local Lowes twice as possibly a large purchase customer for cabinets countertops etc . On each visit I was clearly recognized by the employees sitting at there design desks and sadly for them I was completely ignored . They were not on the phone or working with a customer . Never once did I receive a Hello , or I'll will be with you in a moment. Just a look noticing me and that was all. So I'm guessing they don't need the business .So all that being said this is my reason to write this review. Not only was I greeted at the La Quinta store entrance but also by every associate that I passed in the store. I was helped by the most attentive ,friendliest ,knowledgeable associates from start to finish. They all went above and beyond my expectations and trust me I'm coming from years of personal experience working with high end clients. I would like to Name personally the associates who inspired me to write this and say Thank you and Bravo for taking such care of me with my remodel decisions and purchases . Thank you Aubrie,Christina,and Michelle for the sincere friendly greetings and making my check out pleasant. Thank you to Nna !!!,I hope I spelled your name correct. You are on PIONT with every question . My sister and I always have fun with each other no matter where we go. We just might make a special trip just to say hello to you and we will surely tell our neighbors and friends to ask for you for any home design projects. Your friendliness , knowledge of the products and suggestions not only helped me make my decision but who new picking out a backsplash could be so fun. I hope you're being paid well because you deserve it. Thank you Katelynn , she had gone far above what most would do to find product as if it were for herself. If they don't have it she will find it at another location. Thank you Cherly,from the design dept who was new. She answered questions and offered professional opinion even when I didn't have a appointment. And last Patty also New . She was so friendly and ask me if in needed any help and she hasn't even started yet . She was there for orientation. I haven't had a chance to speak to a manager to compliment his awesome staff but I will be sure to on my next visit to let him know I left this review. We went to Floor & Decor to buy tile for our master bathroom shower. We wanted to buy all the tile at once and take it home today (we live over an hour away, so this was important to us). Previously, we had gone to Floor & Decor and found tiles that we liked, but we weren't ready to tile then. Fast forward to today, we went to Floor & Decor in La Quinta, and the tile we had selected several months ago was no longer in stock at the store. We decided to look around and see if there was anything we liked better, and we found a few tiles that worked really well together and would match our bathroom aesthetic even better than our original selection! We decided to buy these tiles and reached out to the nearest associate, Michelle. Michelle was extremely helpful and looked up how many tiles were in stock and how many we would need for our project. Turned out they had just enough stock for us to do the project and get everything today. She helped us meticulously and carefully check every single tile in the boxes and stack them in a cart (previously I had bought tiles at Home Depot for another project and had a bad experience with several boxes of tile that were completely broken). After we went through all the stock on the floor, we were short several boxes. Michelle found out that many of the boxes were in the warehouse, so she went back to get all of them for us!! She found all the boxes and made sure we had everything we needed for our project. She was so warm and welcoming, with AMAZING energy. Her helpfulness and regard for us and our project made her stand out. Her customer service was on point!! Thank you, Michelle, for taking care of us! Also, shout out to Feliciano for taking care of us at checkout and helping us load the tile in our Jeep so that everything was secure for the 1+ hour drive home. Overall, it was a great experience. I drove close to two hours to the La Quinta store only to find out that the tile with a specific dialogue (caliber and tone) that was reserved for me could not be found. Several team members and the store manager jumped into immediate action to troubleshoot a problem that could become a nightmare for me if it turned out they had run out of stock. I could tell several associates were looking for the tiles. I ended up waiting for over 30 minutes in a temperature of 109°F in the customer service waiting room. The staff was apologetic, but I was happy that I was able to find the remaining tiles I needed to finish my latest projects.

After my car was loaded and I was getting ready to leave the parking lot, an associate (Feliciano) handed me a partial refund receipt, apologizing for keeping me waiting. I did not expect it, but it made me feel appreciated that my waiting time was noted and valued. My tile contractor, who has been in business for 40 years and does tile work for celebrities' homes, complimented the quality of this tile (Sierra Beige SKU#100490168).
