Upon check in, the front desk clerk, Stephanie was rude and unprofessional at best. She didn't allow me to finish speaking before cutting me off, thinking she knew the question I was asking. She didn't know. I stayed here two years ago and the staff was great, from the front desk, housekeeping, and the bartender. Stephanie represented the company poorly. Once in the room there was an issue. I called the front desk and, yet again, her tone and attitude mirrored what she displayed upon check in. I can't understand why anyone with poor customer service skills works in customer service. After inquiring about a manager, and their information, her attitude changed just a bit. I will follow up with management. I must mention that when Stephanie decided she could provide assistance, when she blatently said nothing could be done until the following day, she sent houskeeping to our room. Teresa, the housekeeping supervisor, was great. She listened to my concerns, and although there was nothing she could do from a management standpoint, she made an effort to listen and provide a solution to my issues. I don't remember the name of the young lady with Teresa but they were both attentive, professional, and clearly showed what customer service should be. While I don't expect anything to be done, it is worth mentioning. I'm convinced by Stephanie's unprofessionalism that this wasn't her first time treating customers in...
Read moreBeautiful new property. Great and personable staff. A few things to consider. Foremost the tub shower in which I nearly broke my hip as the tub surface is slicker than ice and there is no mat or any kind of device to keep from immediately slipping. I had to place a bath towel on the tub floor to remain upright. Secondly, half of my electrical system popped a circuit breaker in the middle of the night when I plugged in my phone charger. Your night manager John came to my rescue and as is common in new construction there should be testing of every outlet for any flaws. Third would be to provide dog waste stations for obvious reasons. I brought my dog and had to make sure he did his business off site. And finally, breakfast needs potatoes and bacon or sausage. Three pans of scrambled eggs and no other hot fare ruins the morning meal that every other Residence Inn provides. I asked about potatoes and the response was ´´no potatoes.’’ I will probably never stay at this location again as I’m in my 70s and have no business in the La Quinta area but you’ve done such a nice job with your new hotel that it would be a shame to alienate customers who can afford your rates, bring their pets and eat breakfast. You can do better if you fix the small things that would keep me from returning. Thanks for all the things you did right. Your staff is first class....
Read moreThe first thing that struck me about the hotel was its beautiful and spacious lobby area. It was modern and tastefully decorated, with plenty of comfortable seating options and a welcoming ambiance. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, checking me in quickly and making me feel at home right away.
The room itself was absolutely perfect. It was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft and luxurious. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, making it easy for me to prepare my own meals during my stay.
One thing that really stood out to me about the hotel was the attention to detail. Everything from the toiletries in the bathroom to the complimentary snacks in the kitchen had been carefully thought out and provided with guests' comfort in mind. The hotel even offered a grocery shopping service, which was incredibly convenient and made my stay all the more enjoyable.
The amenities at the hotel were also top-notch. The pool and hot tub area was clean and well-maintained, and the fitness center had a good selection of equipment. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which was delicious and offered a wide...
