Daiso - Japanese Household Goods — Attraction in Lake Forest

I can't say enough positive about daiso it was so fun going up and down the aisles and looking at all the different things and during my trip I went there twice and oh my gosh I wish that we had one where I live I'm going to look to see if you can buy things online it's a great little store actually it's not very little but it has all kinds of things that you just wouldn't think about when it comes to cleaning and food and they have toys and stationery and storage items and they're all from Japan and so everything is Japanese and written on there and they have one price for everything in the store except for if it's marked differently and the one price is a $1.75 and then things are sometimes more and if so they are marked I bought so many little items. Went in and bought several items. 2 were in packages, which signs state you may not open up packages. So I trust that the items are intact. Get home and both items were broken on the inside, they are made of plastic and can not be fixed. Call the store and am told they have a no return/exchange policy, all sales are final. I state the items were broken upon opening. She said “sorry no refunds” I stated again that I had just purchased the items and they were broken. She again said basically “too bad” I told her then you should let people open the packages, due to your no return policy because I paid $7 each and they are both shattered. This is ridiculous.
