This is hands down the best nail salon in the entire Portland metro area for the following reasons: -They don’t push upselling for anything -The girls who work there are beautiful, friendly, happy, and professional -The attention to detail and pride of work is evident throughout the entire process, they don’t try to rush through anything or skip any steps -The prices are extremely fair
I took my three year old daughter here for her first mani/pedi while I got the dip and natural pedicure (which was well worth it). They made both my daughter and I feel like we were an extension of their family. They entertained my daughter and we’re so patient with her. They even helped her use the restroom. I don’t know how the girl doing her nails got them to look so perfect and dry without any smudges- serious talent. My nails came out beautifully, 100% the best dip I’ve ever received since getting dip religiously the past two years. It’s not thick and she was able to cover my entire nail and left no residue overhang that ends up ruining the dip in less than a week. My pedicure was also amazing and included callous removal, sugar scrub, aromatherapy soak, paraffin wax, a mud mask and hot stone massage. I hope they didn’t mind having us there because they’ll be seeing a lot more of my daughter and me...
Read moreNot sure why the rating is so high here. The nails were fine I guess. The language barrier was bad enough I eventually stopped trying and didn't really get what I wanted. The store itself is very mid. Wires, peeling paint, tools on the floor. The nice website boasted complimentary coffee, tea, soda and wine, so I didn't bring a drink with me. No one in the store had or was offered any drinks in the 2 hours I was here. I was not really greeted or talked to beyond 'which one you want?'. I spent my whole pedi struggling to hold onto like 6 find full of color samples with no way to put them down. Bit of a bummer. I left feeling drained. I made an appointment and they still didn't have people ready for us or know what we wanted. We wanted dulex manicures, got 'up sold' to SNS nails, but then we didn't get any hand or skin care treatment. If they didn't have time, they could have said, we would have paid more for both. My husband's hands in particular, but also my hands needed the skin care and massaging. After explaining what I wanted three times for my nail coloring I gave up and got something simpler when I was basically being ignored. It's fine, but it's not 4.9 stars good? I can't believe we drove half an hour to get to some place because it had great...
Read moreI gave 4 instead of 5 stars because my friend and I have been going here for about 6 months and typically have a good experience. However, I think the quality of the nails really depends on your tech. Some are GREAT when it comes to shape and others are not. Multiple times I have asked for almond and gotten more of a round nail. No biggie. Last time my friend and I went she was getting her nails done for a wedding she would be in. She picked a color for her pedicure but the tech doing the pedicure just randomly decided to do a different color than what she asked for. She pointed it out to the tech and she brought out two more different colors... not sure if there was just a misunderstanding but at the end of the mani/pedi when we walked out, we noticed how different her finger nails looked compared to her toes. She had to add a different color at home to make it closer to what she needed for the wedding. Kind of a bummer to pay 100$ for the two services and one of them not necessarily being what she wanted/needed. All of the the girls are very nice and they can get you in on relatively short notice. Also really like that they have a little stamp...
