The House of Rose (THOR) — Attraction in Lake Oswego

I have a beloved bag that needed a repair and we saw House Of Rose had opened up and thought we would pop in and ask if they did repairs. We were greeted so warmly and told that not only are they able to repair my bag but at such a reasonable cost and in an even better way than the original design so that the bag will never break again. We left my precious bag in their capable hands and I felt full trust that my bag would be safe and come back to me even better than when I purchased it. When we picked up the bag there was a slight difference in the hardware and I felt I would rather have a different size and color, and they said no problem, bring it back in! I brought it back and not only did they repair the bag beautifully, but in the same day! I’m so grateful to everyone at House of Rose for giving me the gift of having my favorite bag back in service, but so much more. Their care and concern that I was satisfied with their work was of their utmost concern. They listen, they are extremely creative and deliver a beautiful product. They are kind and generous and make a person feel that they are the most important person in that moment. I’m grateful to have met Tony personally, and will be back, possibly for a custom made bag! I highly recommend House of Rose! They have a beautifully appointed shop with gorgeous bags for sale, gorgeous clothes for sale and so much more! This place is great! I stopped in for a leather belt and was really surprised by the amount of stylish quality accessories he carried from belts to bags, vests, ties, etc. The shopping experience itself was perfect. It’s owned and run by the designer, Tony, and he was very helpful and friendly. The belt didn’t fit just right so I brought it back the next week and he sized it up for me at no charge. A+ for customer service. The suits in his shop are incredibly distinctive and stylish; you’ll definitely stand out in a crowd (in a good way). He takes the aesthetics and looks of the 40’s and updates them with modern fits and cuts. That’s what I think, at least. More surprising was how affordable his services and products are. Compared to other custom clothiers and bespoke boutiques, his prices can’t be beat. I would have picked up a custom suit but I’m working on my weight; I’ll definitely be back for one. He also alters clotting and suits that you already have and given the quality of his custom products, I’m sure the alteration jobs are fantastic. I visited The House of Rose recently and inquired after a tuxedo. The time line I offered was tight, but Tony said he'd be able to accommodate it and he was right. The suit is attractive and stylish but really the biggest testimonial I can offer is to note the following: I can ever really remember feeling comfortable when wearing suits and the like-- I don't know if it's the cut, or the styling, or simply my lack of experience with that kind of clothing, but whatever it is, I normally don't feel great wearing it. However, I wore my THOR tuxedo out and about this past Saturday from 5:30 P.M. until 1:30 A.M. and felt entirely comfortable the entire time. Yes, I got compliments on the clothing, but if I'd not been comfortable it would have shown and I wouldn't have come across as well and I wouldn't have had as good a time and really, that's all that matters. Entirely pleased with my experience at THOR and I intend to be back. EDIT: I came back to THOR recently to get some shirts made.
