My wife, child and I decided to try out this place as we were originally going to going to Whole Foods to get my daughter pizza there. My wife saw Will amette Valley Vineyards and suggested we try it, and so we did!
Long story short, the food, wine and beer were great!
We had a great waiter by the name of Erik and he was very attentive and enjoyed holding conversations not just with us, but with all the other patrons as well!
Great job Erik!
I’d highly recommended you try this place out if you’re in Lake Oswego. You can’t go wrong! Great atmosphere with a nice fire table outside.
Update as of 12/132024: went back here for a second time and the food was just as good as my first time there! My wife and I came to celebrate her birthday! Our server was Julia and she did a fantastic job of recommending what was good. My wife had the salmon and I had the roasted chicken again! The wine was great, which was a Pinot Grigio. The desserts were amazing too as we had the lemon cheesecake, which wasn’t rich, but light. We also had the mango sorbet and it helped clean the pallet after eating the cheesecake. Another fantastic meal and experience.
I called earlier in the day to see if I could reserve the barrel table and my previous waiter Erik picked up the line. Spoke to him a bit and he vaguely remembered who I was since I was there last year. When we arrived, he walked by our table and instantly remembered who I was and engaged in a little chit chat! Good to see him again
Well worth the drive from Hillsboro to have a nice evening of dining and celebration. Thanks for being a great server Julia!

Read moreI wasn’t focused enough to take beautiful pictures like many of the reviewers here, but don’t let that keep you from going. Right off the bat I could tell that it was going to be a good experience because even your water is served in a Riedel glass. I have been to other local wineries for tastings and most of them don’t bother swapping out glasses for different wines, let alone take the time to explain how the glass shape contributed to the experience of a certain wine.
My friend and I came here for the first time and became club members by the end of our experience. We worked with Beck and Bri, both of them were an absolute delight—incredibly genial and knowledgeable. Went with a custom flight after chatting with Beck and let him guide our tasting journey which turned out to be very worthwhile. He converted me on Chardonnay, which I have declared I dislike on the whole for a long time. And the Chrysologue we wrapped up with was spectacular! Ordered another glass of it and bought a bottle to bring home.
The food was delicious too. We shared the charcuterie board, which had a lot of lovely options on it. Not a lot of crostini comes out with it but they happily bring you more. The mushroom risotto was a real standout and worth the trip alone. Obviously, I will be back, and I look forward to trying many more items and experiencing the wonderful...
Read moreAs a member of WVV I just wanted to share that my partner and I had a lovely anniversary dinner this evening which included a lovely seasonal flight tasting experience. Paige was our waiter/server. She was fabulous! Paige had at least 9 or 10 tables tonight, both inside and out, which was tough with the hot temperatures! Paige was clearly working hard!
In my past (two experiences at LO WVV) I felt there was time built in for the waiter to spend time talking to us about the wines being featured. There is no way I would have expected anyone to do that tonight based on the rate she had to move. I did mention to Paige that this experience seemed to be different then my past in that area. She immediately switched gears, (not something she should have had to do) and started informing us of our wines. Paige was extremely friendly, caring, kind and did a great job explaining how the wines and food work at WVV Lake Oswego and helped me choose a Pinot Noir to take home that would fit the palette liking I was after. My husband and I loved the Wild mushroom dish. Highly recommend the mushroom dish, the Carmen Ranch steak and Roasted Potatoes and Aioli. The salmon, not so much. Thank you, Paige for your lovely service tonight:) I hope you had that glass of wine after you shift that we talked about ! (5 stars Paige,...
