We were excited for this place to open as it is walking distance from our home. We used to go to Señor Taco, which was the place that had this location before Taqueria la Marquesa, and we were sad when it closed. We gave this a try the past week and the food was really fresh and good but a tad bit spicy for our taste. Next time we will ask for it to be a bit less spicy but otherwise our new favorite local Mexican joint! I had the Burrito Mojado with chorizo as the protein and it was not overly greasy like most chorizo burritos I have had so that was great! I am taking 1/2 a star star away for the food being a bit spicer than I like... and same goes for my wife who got the enchilada dinner, but since I can't do 1/2 a star, I will leave it at a full 5 stars. If the owners are reading this review, make it a bit less spicy as we can spice it up with hot sauce at home. The red and green salsas are VERY good, so definitely don't miss out on those.

Excellent food! Everything was delicious and the habanero sauce was a favorite for my husband. The pork was perfect on his burrito bowl. The burrito was packed full in every bite. Excellent tender shredded chicken along with a little spicy homemade red sauce. It was balanced and I couldn’t finish it, as I was too full. The drinks are great! Recommend a refreshingly cold hibiscus tea or Sangria soda. Yes, a sangria soda that tastes just like it sounds. We went during lunch and got our meals super quick as a walk in. They pump out delicious, fresh food in no time. Definitely recommend if you are craving Mexican in LO.

This place has amazing food! Ok I’ve been putting off writing this review because I love this place so much and want to keep it to myself. Did I mention their food is amazing! The jefe or Chile relleno burrito are our favorite. Order ahead or be prepared to wait because lots of people that are working in the area come here for their lunch hour. Their aguas frescas are good and I’m yet to try the tacos since I crave the burritos weekly so that’s all I ask for every time we are there. Yeah this is a small hole in the wall type of place but it’s clean, the service is great and the food is even better.

We were sad to see Senor Taco leave this spot, they're soo good, but we saw a good review of this new place so we checked then out. Unfortunately after trying to eat here twice they just don't measure up. The beef tacos had weird little cubes of meet that were too chewy and subpar in flavor. We tried enchiladas but the sauce tasted like marinara sauce you'd have at an Italian restaurant, it just tasted wrong. The nachos weren't bad, the carne asada i had with them tasted good but was small cubes and a little chewy. The refried beans and rice weren't very flavorful. The salsa isn't really salsa, it's more like a red hot sauce you'd get in a small container with your food. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place just isn't very good, hopefully they will improve in time. For now we'll gladly drive to West Linn to Senor Taco, which is really good and fairly priced, or even to Holy Taco which isn't as good and overpriced but...

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in LO. We order from here at least once a week all summer long. We’re a vegetarian family and the fajita vegetables are impeccably seasoned and the rice is delicious. After probably literally 100+ orders placed by phone they’ve not once made an error.

We’ve also used them for catering a smallish (20 ppl) event and found them very easy to work with and prices were very reasonable. Comparable to Chipotle but 100x better. Guests at our event raved about the food for weeks.

The only complaint I do have is sometimes they close for random days or weeks and as phone in customers there’s never any indication they’re closed outside of their regular business hours. It would be super helpful if their answering machine message indicated that they’re closed (for instance today, July 5th, and for how long.) Instead we usually end up driving over to see the...
