This park is great! There is more playground equipment here than any other playground in the area. Swings, a merry-go-round, a "ship" play area, and a HUGE castle structure with ropes, ladders, slides, bridges, parapets, small rock wall, and a couple of play areas underneath. The entire play area is floored with some type of shock absorbent matting. Parking is plentiful and close. The trees are mature enough to provide a bit of shade to some Parking spots. There's a nice, large, covered area with tables as well as a smaller covered area with two tables. The restroom facilities are fine and there is a lower sink in the women's room (great for children). There is a very small and unimpressive splash pad. It wasn't on for the season when we were there in May. I can see it being nice to run through the sprinklers on a hot day while you're playing, buy the playground equipment seems to be the main attraction.

What's not to like about a park? A good place to bring the whole family or just the little ones. Why not the whole family? It makes for a good place for our elders to take laps while younger folks can speak amongst each other in a safe environment. Do you need to be a kid to go to a park? Well it certiently justifies the cheer I see when they arrive. For myself however I can enjoy this park for the aesthetic features implanted by the designers like the lake and the choices of vegetation.

A fair amount of shade structures (comparatively) and some mature trees. Always need more shade! LOTS of stuff to climb on, and they wisely put light colored ground surfacing down. Spray-ground is pretty small but better than nothing. Bring waterguns and buckets. Plus, the covered pavilion is right next to it. Bravo. I always recommend bringing camp chairs to PGs so you can sit all over, in the shade and not stuck on a full-sun bench.

This is a great inclusive playground! It was the first of its kind in St. Charles County. The Wetzville High Schools raised money for the park and there are structures named for both Holt (castle) and Timberland (pirate ship).

It's big and there's lots for kids to do and play on. A long path rings the nearby lake and a splash pad will keep kids cool in summer. There are picnic tables and a pavilion that can be used if not rented.

This park can be a bit tricky to find, as it's nestled next to a subdivision. Also, the parking lot is fairly small. On a busy day, you may have to park...

Kind of run down in some spots. The bathrooms are gross. Older kids ride their bikes around the perimeter of the park, often unsupervised. One of them ran over my child with his bike. My child ended up with scrapes and bruises on his face and a bloody nose. I believe the kids come from the condos and apartments that are right across the street. It is also impossible to sit down and watch your children at the same time because the playground structures block the view. If you go here, watch your child closely! On a positive note, the pavilion and splash...
