I've been a long term CorePower Yoga client. I've always enjoyed the facilities, instructors and the C2 yoga classes. I normally only get pack of 5 - 10 classes however a little over a month ago, I signed up for a 1 month trial at $99. I was told there will not be an autorenewal and I will be asked for approval if I choose to keep a monthly subscription after the month trial. Unfortunately, CorePower did not ask for any approval and is now charging me $189/monthly for a subscription that I did not accept nor signed up for. I didn't notice this until I was reconciling my credit card charges. Not only did they not cancel my subscription immediately but are now requiring a 30 day notice prior to cancelling and making me responsible for the additional 30 day notice period.
It's rare for me to write negative reviews however writing this so others don't fall for this type of business practice. After almost 7 years of being a loyal customer, I unfortunately, I will no longer support CorePower Yoga...
Read moreI am very disappointed with CorePower Lakeview. I have been practicing with CP for over 10 years and have spent likely thousands of dollars with them. I received an email from their Assistant Studio Manager saying that I missed paying for a class a month ago and that they would need to charge me. I received such an email, and asked in the spirit of good customer service that they would kindly cover this as it is 4 weeks later and I should have purchased a package that day, which was likely also not charged. Her response to my poor experience was ". I have purchased your last drop in a rate of $26 dollars on your card ...If you choose to practice elsewhere we are sorry to see you go." I'm shocked that this is how CorePower treats their long time and loyal...
Read morePROS They have lots of class options. Good teachers. And a lovely lobby area.
CONS The room is cramped. You can’t reach your arms to do a full body stretch in the back row bc you hit the wall. The mats smell like body odor and food. Cleaning them doesn’t help much. The sequences are not creative. After 6 rounds of the same thing I’m done. After 2 visits, I won’t go again.
AND they replied but ignored their mats being foul, the room being small, and the class sequence being a yawn. The class was only half full, and I still could not lift my arms over my head because the room is just small They put three rows of mats in there with the last row right against the wall. I had already reported the mats to them but they never...
