Edit : Come back again for over a year since we moved out from the neighborhood Never disappointed, friendly service, better ambience they added more details about lighting and hanging plants on the lights. Super cute decor and more cozy vibes. I’m glad that they didn’t change the menu much but they have full bar service now! Cockage fee is for byob but that is fair for me cuz we still save $$ and be able to order more sushi ! Spicy udon stir fried is our go-to! Well done Nori!
Cute little sushi restaurant in Lakeview!!! My favorite are Sakura maki and Spicy octopus maki. My husband always gets Sushi entree. We love tuna Tatar appetizer and spicy miso. They used to be BYOB but if you bring your own they only charge for $5! And open it for you with real wine glasses not tacky wine glasses from BYOB places. FYI they do offer Japanese beer on the tap:) but too bad that half off Monday no longer exist but who know?? After they fully back open for dine...
Read moreNori Sushi has become my go-to neighborhood spot, and I can't recommend it enough for those solo dining adventures. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make it feel like a second home, and it's one of those rare places where I'm completely comfortable dining alone.
My usual order is the chirashi bowl, a delightful creation that never fails to impress. The combination of fresh sashimi on a bed of Japanese rice, accompanied by miso soup, is a true delight for the senses. The chef's selection always adds an element of surprise and showcases the restaurant's commitment to quality.
The staff at Nori Sushi go above and beyond to create a warm and inviting environment. Their kindness makes every visit memorable, and I genuinely feel like I'm stepping into a safe haven. If you're looking for a neighborhood gem with great food and a welcoming vibe, Nori Sushi is the...
Read moreI love this place! I ordered the Japanese Curry as my entree, which was surprisingly huge and enough for 2 people! It came with a salad and a miso soup, which is pretty standard at all restaurants. But Nori takes it to the next level and adds a scoop of Japanese potato salad, a scoop of rice, two meat cutlets, and finally, a big bowl of curry with potato, carrots, and asparagus. It was so flavorful and delicious, and it was nice that a sushi restaurant had a ton of other items other than sushi, though I still divulged in that as well. The service was great, and the location is easily accessible. I would advise to get a few sushi rolls and share with friends so you can try a little big...
