Feasts of Persia & Fuel Our Power — Attraction in Lakeland

I wanted to love this place so much because the location is tucked away in an awesome spot with shaded spots to sit down and enjoy yourself. However, there were quite a few things that fell short. We waited over 35 min after placing our order. We had to go up twice to check and the cashier said just another minute both times. However, the second time she handed a massive bag to the woman who ordered after us. At that point I walked away because I felt they weren’t caring about our food preparation. My mom brought the food over and the fries were ice cold and had no salt or seasoning. The burger came on a sub bun and was cold and tasted like a prepackaged burger. Needed a sauce, to dry. My moms sandwich lacked meat and needed more seasoning. They ran out of raw onion and almost out of the sautéed veggies because they hardly had any on our sandwiches. I also ordered the three wings and they were under seasoned, ice cold wings which is concerning because we had to wait for 35 minutes for COLD FOOD. Not impressed for $60. My mom was offered a $25 raffle ticket and no refund...

Finally got to try Feasts of Persia! They do the field trips to LRH and today I went at Union Hall. They are such a sweet family and fabulous quality ingredients and spices for Persian fusion food. We tried the Shish Kabob and the Kabob Burger, fries, and hummus. The spice is just right for an American audience though it could be more spicy in my opinion. I love the garlic and Sumac and Zatar spices. 😋😜 Thank you Farhad and Gianna for excellent food, superb service, nice ambiance and warmhearted welcoming for the family of customers. 🤗 I like the fusion cuisine and how they press the burger. There are not enough great things to say about the experience we had with Feasts of Persia, and Gianna and her family! We reserved the food truck for our 30th HS reunion and the process was seamless. They went to the venue in advance, prepped everything and had pre-order links to make it easy for people at the event to save time and pre-pay. I thought that was an amazing benefit to the overall experience, but then I tasted the food! I can still taste the flavors of the meat 4 days later. I am excited that they will be serving at Union Hall regularly in the coming weeks, because I will be able to eat there regularly!
