I have had 3 Tattoos done at Blue Velvet & all 3 have been great Tattooing experiences!! 2 were done when it was owned by Amber 1 was script the other was a cartoon character in which "I LOVE" but the coloring I was not happy W/ I was told that after healing that it would POP! it never did- Buy my last Tattoo was done by "Ness" & he's the man... I was so picky he must of moved my outline like 8-11x & was totally cool about it, He didn't get frustrated or make loud sigh sounds when I was like "can we move it a bit up but over & back"& he was like listen this will be permanent nently on you I'll move it until your 110% happy W/ the placement. Again I have been so happy W/the drawings the only thing I can say is that my Carrtoon Tattoo I'm unhappy W/but again only W/ the coloring, but "Ness" said come back & he will fix things up. So all in all I have had Awesome experiences & would Highly recommend them to anyone who's interested in getting a Tattoo. Blue Velvet is a very Clean Cool Place W/very Nice Kind Helpful Artists who are honest & ALWAYS GIVE THEIR All when doing a Tattoo & if they think that another Artist can do a better job they will tell you & recommend you getting your Tattoo done by the other Artists!!! Raffy is by far the best artist around. He does all styles of art and he brings his passion for it, straight to the table every single time. All of my work has been done, covered up, touched up, designed by Raffy. The first piece he did for me was 7 years ago. I searched everywhere for an artist that I could trust to touch up my mom’s memorial tattoo on my back as it means the most to me since she was with me when I got it. It was blown out and needed life brought back to it. I found Raffy and he not only did that but he turned it into an amazing full back piece. I wanted it done on my mom’s 10 year anniversary. I had an amazing experience at the Artists of Blue Velvet Tattoo. I had wanted a tattoo for a very long time, but was nervous as this is something permanent and I am super particular. Rafael Serrano was so kind, listened to my concerns, and helped me design a beautiful, meaningful tattoo with great placement. The fine line artwork and attention to detail came out beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised that the process was relatively painless. In fact, I was so pleased with the process I ended up getting a second tattoo the following week on my foot.
