So i took my 5 star review back because i thought these were nice and honest guy's. When i went here i told them that i know little to none about gaming pc and that i had interest in buying a gaming pc from a big box store but the man said that they are junk and not good for the value. The guy behind seemed like a nice guy like i said and wanted to know what i wanted to spend on a pc so i said $1200. Paid for the pc and picked it up a week and a half later. All was well. My cousin came over and asked what i got and i showed him the paper i got and he said did you compare to the big box stores and i said no. Now i did a bit of looking but. I will show you what i paid for $1272- i5-9400, corsair 16gb ddr4, b365mb, 500gb evo+nvme ssd, thermaltake matx case, gtx 1660 super, evga 600 watt 80+ bronze ps, and window 10. Now i. Compared to this one system i seen for $1249-CyberPowerPC - Gamer Xtreme Gaming Desktop - Intel Core i7-9700F - 16GB - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER - 1TB HDD + 500GB SSD - Black - with gaming keyboard and mouse pad. There are ones as low as $1000 that have things in it that are better than what i had built. Now i know its my mistake for being taken advantage of because i didnt know any better but i just want to let people know that you should check the box store first so you dont end up like me. I was told my pc will run 144fps on high setting which isnt the case it runs them only on low. If i want it on high settings it will do 70 fps. Just hope if people go here they know what there talking about. By the way ill edit and say my computer is over heating. Probably due to the one exhaust fan that was installed on a gaming pc that should require minimum of two. One or two for intake and 1 for exhaust. I understand i have a 1 year warranty but i will take it somewhere else to be fixed and upgraded....
Read moreI am a repeat customer. My first purchase was about 7 years ago of a refurbished Acer laptop. It still works but no matter how many charger cords I buy the cord does not stay connected in charging. Plus I use it for my businesses & it was not as fast as I need it to be as my businesses have grown.
I felt it was time to shop for a new laptop. Since I had a good experience with this place long before. I went back. Thankful they survived the Covid-19 Pandemic! (Which tells me a lot about how successful & well managed the business)
I am happy to say I found another refurbished laptop that I liked and at a good price that fit my budget!
What I like best about this place & the businesses in this town is that they are owned by genuine people.
It is nice to walk into a business such as this & see a familiar, as well as friendly person, who is very knowledgeable, to help you with your purchase. Who takes the time to answer your questions as well as teach you about various topics relating to electronics when asked. No one there is just about the sale commission or upsell. Or what time it is to go on break. Like has been my experience in the big box stores. Nor have I found anyone anywhere else having such knowledge.
As to one of the reviews here...Yes. The show room is not updated with all the bells & whistles & trendy decor you see in those other stores. Who cares? Energy Star Computers gives you the best customer service! They focus on you, the customer & in providing good products to the consumer at a fair price. Besides I'm not there for ambiance. The place is still clean & organized. That is all that matters to me.
I highly recommend stopping in whenever you have time while traveling through the historic town of Langhorne Boro or when you are in need & shopping...

Took it to Energy Star and Brian remembered me from many years ago. I had to leave the laptop but luckily it was only a software issue and was done very quickly. Thanks Brian for a job well done.
