This was the 1st time I was in th Dollar General, but I needed something & went in. Their prices were reasonable, the store was clean, well lit & they had some of the items in their circular I wanted. At checkout, the clerk kept talking to the girl behind me to the point I said to please void my sale & do hers so you can answer my questions. He did that.. only to find the Manager was the customer behind me. I asked questions about Rainchecks for items they didn't have & I was told he didn't know how to do that. The register asked about me only buying 1 item as there was a discount with 2, but the store didn't have the quantity. Again, he didn't know what to do. I asked to speak to the Manager to be told she was on break. At that point, i asked if anyone could answer my questions. He gave me a bag & said there's a website I can email. And, do I want my items as he was due for break. Wow! I got the 1 item I absolutely needed and left. I will NEVER step foot in that store again! I hope it was just immature "kids", but I do hope the business doesn't suffer because of such occurrences. Again, apologies for taking a while to post however I didn't want to post while...
Read moreGoogle shows store is open until 9 pm. I drove there in the pouring rain, after 8 hours of work to find the door locked with an apology for closing at 3pm until further notice. This is not the first or even second time I've experienced this at the Langhorne store and the one in Morrisville. At the least, someone could update Google. The store always has stock carts blocking the shelves, items priced incorrectly, and only one employee to stock shelves and cashier. I go there for the convenience of a smaller store with decent prices. This is not convenient. Obviously they need additional employees to stay open and get the necessary work done, not to mention for safety and probably for loss prevention. As a corporation they have it messed up. Saving money on employees just to lose by having to close and losses from theives and expired...
Read moreNew employee, decided to push me. Been going there YEARS. Walk into the store, I’m in my own little world, going right to my sodas. Next thing I feel a hand on my shoulder pulling me around. It’s on camera. He decided to push into me(against my Ostomy bag, good thing it is on my right side of belly, he pushed just missing the bag..He didn’t know, but either way you don’t put hands on a customer just because he’s not paying you any mind in his own world. He’s lucky I twisted just right, because of Ostomy from colon cancer I just finished treatment for. If it broke, there woulda been a...
