For the best experience, you must be proactive and you must advocate your goals and you must explore where you want to go. Tuition is reasonable and scholarships can be abundant. The ideal setup, depending on oneās circumstances, is to start here and use Lansing Community College to get to the next destination, whether it is a sought employer or university. I strongly recommend networking and using all available resources to find and develop a constructive resonance with potential instructors. Donāt hesitate to ask questions. There are countless people and support services ready to help people of all backgrounds and needs. Be advised and cautioned that the summer semester can be a bit more challenging due to its condensed schedule and that online classes tend to have some trade-offs that need to be carefully considered. There have been many notable infrastructure investments and student life improvements for activities and events. Of course, parking can be a bit of a trick sometimes, but carpooling or finding alternative nearby locations can reduce expenses. Make sure to apply for FAFSA as soon as possible for prime planning. By going here first and developing a strong core foundation, one can also save a lot of money rather than paying higher prices for comparable education elsewhere. Also, Lansing Community College develops strategic partnerships with many higher learning institutions and even hosts the joint University Center at the downtown location. But donāt forget to have fun and forge memories with your community while you endeavor your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis college attracts people with the hope of saving money, Iām talking kids right out of high school. Unfortunately, if you donāt have the right kind of personality and get lucky with the handful of decent professors, it will cost you too much time and additional money to go here. You have to be a total fighter, the administration is run so poorly, everything takes gobs of time. They will purposely āreviewā something they need to fix for so long that youāre behind in a class and then need to retake it. Itās a joke. they hire professors who donāt answer questions, donāt attend office hours, donāt respond to emails. I thought maybe our experience was one of a kind but I was talking to a mom yesterday with the same complaints. Lcc has been holding her kids paperwork since May and wonāt turn it in to the state so he can take essential testing and get registered. What on gods green earth is taking them so long? If other schools can accomplish it in days, why is it taking lcc months? Quick to cash your check, slow to take care of students. Do not recommend. We had the means to send my son elsewhere and picked LCC because he didnāt really have a preference of 4 year university, so we thought we would save some cash. Sadly, this was a horrible choice that Iāll regret for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSecurity Breach names and social security numbers possibly leaked. And they knew that suspicious activity was happening since March of this year which was not even close to when i received the notice in the mail (4 months after), mind you the person was doing this since December of last year so for a couple months someone had possible access to every student in LCCs social and name. This letter they sent makes it seem like it's not LCCs fault even though they clearly can't handle monitoring their computer system where it takes 6 months total for them to alert people possibly affected by a security breach they offered a membership to KROLL (identity monitoring system) and expect you to deal with the security issue yourself even though we should be able to trust our community schools with that information everybody knows how stressful these rabbit holes are to go down and fill out all these documents and services we never wanted to sign up for and I don't believe they are taking proper responsibility for their negligence with our personal...
