Ethel Pearson Park — Attraction in Las Vegas

The park itself is really nice. The area surrounding is full of homeless and trash, and the park suffers because of it.

I visited several times over the course of a few weeks and every time found the playground full of garbage. Rotting food, broken glass, and drug paraphernalia were scattered around. I would take it to the cans, and the next visit there would be even more.

My last visit I watched a homeless lady dump an entire suitcase of clothes on top the overflowing trash can and proceed to sleep on the slide, where kids are supposed to play.

It truly is a beautiful park with shade trees and green grass. I did enjoy the time I spent there, and I would go back again.

Yes it’s true this place has a roller hockey rink or rollerskating rink. The concrete is not perfectly smooth and there are a few cracks, but the other parks with roller skating options are super far away.
