This is a SALVADORIAN Restaurant, food from the Central American country of El Salvador. I have been coming to eat here since I moved to Las Vegas in the mid 1990's.
Yes, the tipical breakfast with fried platano, black beans, sour cream & hard cheese is amazing. The pupusas are from 3 to 5 dollars depending of the fillings like melted cheese, chicken, beans, pork, shrimp, or loroco. The red sauce that they bring, does have a kick (a bit spicy). For the pupusa, they will serve you pickled veggies, it is cabbage, carrots and flavor spices. They call the cabbage CURTIDO, it's a bit like sour kraut, and I loved it.
If you want an unforgettably delicious steak, order "Bistek de Res", it has a side of rice, beans and salad.
They have the HORCHATA recipe from El Salvador. The horchata has toasted & crushed cocoa beans, morro seed, sugar, sesame seeds, peanuts, rice, coriander seeds, vanilla, & a pinch of cinnamon. Have in mind that it's NOT Mexican Horchata. They have gasiosa (soda from El Salvador). They do offer a little bit of Mexican dishes. I recommend you have the cheesy pupusas, because you can find tacos on every other corner in town.
The line can go out the door some time, and people don't mind the wait. If it's so busy that there are no seat available, you might wait about an hour for your food. The wait staff will be stressed and not friendly. Don't take it personally, ask for an application and get hired. Please, show them how it's done. Lead by example.
I highly recommend this place. I only eat here about 4 times a year. Many of my friends are white, not Hispanic like me. We always end up in some taco place😭. This is my favorite restaurant in...

If you’re craving authentic Salvadoran pupusas, this is the place to be! I’ve tried pupusas all over Las Vegas, and none compare to the ones here. The masa is perfectly soft with a slight crisp, and the fillings are generous and packed with flavor. Whether you go for the classic cheese or mix it up with loroco or pork, every bite is pure bliss.
The curtido and salsa are the perfect accompaniments, adding a fresh, tangy kick that complements the rich flavors of the pupusas. The salsa is not water down like most places. Plus, the service is warm and welcoming, making every visit a delight. If you’re in Las Vegas and haven’t tried this spot yet, you’re missing out on the best pupusas in town! Highly recommend!
When you first walk in it feels a little old and dated but don’t let that turn you away. As a full Salvadoran that lives in LA where we have the best Salvi food outside of the country. I have been to multiple places here in Vegas and I haven’t found one place that makes me want to come back. The problem here is that every restaurant is “Mexican/Salvadoran” which no offense but we are not the same. Our food is simply better whether you like it or not it is.
This restaurant by far exceeded my expectations. I was expecting to be disappointed like always but I was pleasantly surprised. The pupusas by far are the best in the city and on this menu. We also tired their breakfast like plátanos con frijoles y crema. This was okay nothing special the beans where once again pinto beans which are...
Read moreCame inside - asked someone to help me at the bar - took my order for to - go (once I realized I didn’t feel very welcome)
I asked someone again if I could order a drink while I was waiting— they responded “oh ok”
I was completely ignored and honestly felt not very welcome the entire visit - felt like the longest 30-40 minutes In life - But whatever ... My food appeared in the window - I asked AGAIN a different person if they could check if that was my Order (I knew it was I just wanted to leave and the employees were busy talking to OTHER guests at the bar )
One of the kitchen employees came to the bar to grab a drink while eating a piece of corn on the cob (yes this really happened not even exaggerating ) 😳
Overall Outside appearance and location would consider this place a dump
BUT / food was a decent Bread was original
Beans aren’t actually beans (imagine a soup version of Mexican refried beans )
Fish cooked whole Scale 1-5
Service 1 Location 2 Food 4 Cleanliness 2 Health code violations probably through the roof- but hey - who am I !?
Worth a full on trip -no In the area / never had Salvadorian food and it’s...
