I recently went on the Fremont Street Royal Crawl in Vegas, and while it had some high points, it was marred by several frustrating issues. The experience started off well enough, but I quickly noticed a pattern: many of the bars we visited seemed almost annoyed that we were part of the crawl. Despite tipping generously, the service was consistently lackluster, with the notable exceptions being Bar Canada and both bars at the D. Those spots stood out for their warm and welcoming atmosphere, making them a refreshing change from the rest.
The real trouble began when we tried to use our $25 voucher at the D. We had to match a $25 bet on table games to use the voucher, which should have been straightforward. Instead, the pit boss insisted that all people in our party (4 paying customers with 4 separate vouchers) all make the same bet, despite the fact that we were all different people betting our own money (for instance on roulette he expected all 4 of us to make the same bet - and he limited it to either picking RED or BLACK and refused to let us play any other part of the board). It felt like an unnecessary hassle and a blatant attempt to make us lose our voucher. Frustrated, we decided to take our voucher to the blackjack tables. As luck would have it, we ended up winning our bet, making the pit boss's interference seem all the more pointless.
Overall, the crawl had its moments, but the service issues and the problematic voucher experience definitely put a damper on what could have been a...
Read moreThe crawl itself was a blast, drinks were made well, the same as the ones you would pay $15+ for at the bar. The first issue was everyone in my group had to download the app, the code we had to enter was hard to find; the casino staff was not knowledgeable/helpful. The second issue was there is a time range to start and finish, so you need to pay attention and plan appropriately. We almost started too late to finish on Friday, we had to wait to start earlier in the day the following day. The final issue was redeeming the $25 match play certificate we received at the first casino. The Club One desk at the first casino sent us to the gaming tables, who sent us back to the one club where we were shown the small print that the $25 match was only redeemable at a sister casino (ok maybe we should have seen this). Then we went to the roulette table to get our $25 match, and it required us to play our entire $25 +$25 match all on the same 2 to 1 options (red, black, even, odd) you get the idea. My entire group had a difficult time understanding what we needed to do. Basically you put the $25 chip you purchased along with the paper certificate on the 2 to 1 spot you chose. There is a time range to start and finish, pay attention, and plan appropriately.
If the instructions would have been more clear and easy to navigate, this would...
Read moreAs a Las Vegas local, I was recently invited to try out the Royal Crawl app for the second time, and it was just as amazing as my first experience! This time, the app led me on an exciting adventure through downtown Las Vegas, offering five drinks and a meal at the exceptional 8 East restaurant inside the Circa Resort & Casino.
The food at 8 East was absolutely sensational, with flavors that delighted my taste buds and an atmosphere that was extraordinary. It was the perfect spot for a memorable dining experience, and the service was top-notch.
Each stop on the crawl was a lively party, with bartenders who were not only skilled but also incredibly fun and engaging. The energy at every bar was infectious, making each drink feel like a celebration. The app also added an extra layer of excitement with opportunities to win various prizes throughout the night.
My first experience with Royal Crawl was at The LINQ, and both times were equally enjoyable. The app consistently provides a fantastic way to explore the vibrant nightlife of Las Vegas, enjoy great food and drinks, and have an absolute blast.
Overall, the Royal Crawl app provided another unforgettable night out, even for a local like me. Highly recommended for both visitors and locals looking to add some adventure to...
