Dropped off my phone at 3:45 pm and get quoted that it will take 35 minutes. My husband has brought same device before and had camera and phone repaired in same time frame however staff today decided not to call me or notify me that my repair was done. I had to call an hour and 15 minutes after dropping off the device at 5:03pm. I make it over to his shop less than 10 minutes later to see a sign stating that he’ll be back in 10 minutes and a hand full of minutes I see the man that was at the front come out and get in his car and drive off. After this I stay from 5:20pm to 5:30pm watching the front door to see if anyone else will come to man the storefront. After about 10 minutes of me watching the store passes I go to check the handle. Surprise surprise, it’s locked and no one is in. I walk back to my car very upset that I am getting the run around only to see the front desk guy return. Get a call from Boris as I’m driving away saying he took his car to Ted Weinz and had to go pick it up (not sure if Boris is the same as the man at the front desk but if he is he lied straight to my face as I saw him get in his car prior to this call to drive away). Boris tells me over the phone that he’s sorry he tried to catch me when I was walking off at 5:30pm. Mind you he could of told me he was going to step out when I called him at 5:03 pm to say I was on the way in which I tell him this. He offers to give the services for free to which I am already halfway home so I go to go pick up my husband to handle the rest of this nonsense for me because despite him offering this I still feel like I got the runaround and missed out on errands I needed to do by a certain time as I was trying to stay in the area to get my phone at the quoted pick up time. He calls us at 5:58 pm to tell us he closes at 6 (mind you Google and Apple Maps was saying 7 pm) so we rush back get there at 6:12pm for him to tell us he never wants to repair a device for us again. Gladly, wouldn’t want to give him business again, even if he begged us to return. Most unprofessional and rude business owner I have ever met. If he would of communicated with me beforehand I wouldn’t of been upset waiting 20 plus minutes outside his store or even the 45 minute extra wait on top of the time he quoted me for him to finish the repair. My display recently failed. I chose to purchase new instead of repairing my existing phone. But how to transfer data to a new phone with out a working display?

I tried several repair shops but all they could offer was a complete replacement and several days wait.
