I am giving 1 star after coming here numerous times over 3 years to get our favorite sushi roll but are giving 1 star due to yeseterday. we understand covid 19 has retraints so we called before to see if we could dine in as restrictions have been relaxing but the customer service we received yesterday was non existent and just flat out horrible. We go inside before 6pm and are rushed to order in front of glass rather than seat us and let us order at the table. no smile no communication etc. Literally 0 service at all. they also did not give us our 30 percent off our receipt which shows our order was processed and paid for before 6pm and should have been given our 30 percent from 2 to 6pm. I did not bother saying any thing at all about that. they clearly didnt want to serve us and it was so uncomfortable and akward! 0 apology for the rudeness and disrespect. nothing but blatant ignorance shined thru. I asked my husband and my 1 year old to wait in the car and promptly told them we will take it to go since they are so rude and let them know no one is here because of this behavior. I should have asked for my money back due to the poor treatment and attitude problems. Going out is supposed to be enjoyable these people made us feel so bad for wanting to dine in. No one deserves to be treated that way. there are better sushi places than this allowing dine in now and respect....
Read moreI have ordered several times from Arata either pick up or delivery. My experience this time was unpleasant and unnecessary since I have previously had delivery to my work address.
The driver “dropped off” my food at the wrong Suite #160 when clearly my order states Suite #130. So when I received an email from the driver “Tiffany” that it was dropped off, it wasn’t outside my office door. I had to go around the building of Suites to look for my food. Finally found it on the opposite side of our building complex.
I called Arata to inform them of my ordeal but was told since they are using a third-party delivery, I should call them instead. I thought that was rude since Arata IS using a third-party delivery that Arata should inform their delivery services. Another thing, my bank had been charged by Arata for this food and service. Read moreI’ve ordered from this place so many times and made a stop into the restaurant for the first time the other day. First the restaurant was very cramped and dark. Manager was being very rude to both customers and workers. Crossed the line when he kept being weird and made my youngest daughter very uncomfortable. And to top it off while I was there heard him telling cooks to stop using so many gloves to “wipe” the gloves. I can’t imagine other things that go on behind the scenes in this restaurant. Will never be coming back and I hope the health district makes a random inspection to check on this place and shut them down....
