Found out about this eatery a week ago from a friend's post on Facebook. Since my husband and I love trying new restaurants, we decided to have lunch here today with a couple of friends. The place was very clean. The set up was like a fast food but the food was all freshly made just like home. I had the sisilog which was really tasty, a tad acidic for my taste but perfect for my husband's. The serving was generous with a scoop of garlic rice and 2 fried eggs. My husband tried a variety of barbecues which made him very happy. He ordered a side of garlic rice and shared some of my sisig which he really liked. Our friends had the bangsilog and the longsilog which were also very good and the servings were likewise generous. We had the melon and sago for our drinks and they were also very refreshing. The owners were very accommodating and he even let us taste his freshly cooked dinuguan. Service was good. The female worker who seems to be the owner was very nice and sweet.
Food: Sisilog - Garlic Rice, Seasoned Chopped Pork and Eggs Bangsilog- Fried Milkfish, Garlic Rice and Eggs Walang Porkever Lumpia Complimentary Pancit
I was not a fan of the Waland Porkever. The sauce was not to my liking. I wiped the sauce off. My preference is plain and on the grill and not smothered in a sauce. The other dishes were all good. The sisig was yummy and my BF enjoyed the Bangsilog. The lumpia was equally as delicious. The pancit was very tasty that I would order that again.
Overall, a great spot and I'd try other dishes on...
Read moreThis place is a wonderful spot to get a quick bite. I live out in California and was in Vegas for the weekend with my fiancée and I saw the sign outside for some Filipino BBQ. The style of the place is simple and reminiscent of my childhood sitting in the local Filipino store on the bags of rice to cool off in the summer heat. Anyway here’s the important part, the food here is delicious. We got the strawberry lemonade, chicken skewers and chicken tail skewers. Service was awesome the owner and staff went above and beyond. They checked up on us too to make sure they made us happy with their food (they 100% did). Marinade was delicious, meat was cooked perfectly, vinegar was perfect. If you want Filipino food that tastes authentic just come in. Coming back as...
