I booked here in September 2017 for my November 2018 wedding. The wedding night was amazing and all the staff were VERY helpful and on top of everything. But leading up to the wedding was a NIGHTMARE. I live 3.5 hours away so communication was a little off. But lets start from the beginning. When I booked in September 2017, I was promised to be married on top of the hill, which is their main selling point. We were SO excited. I started with a wedding coordinator named Bailey. In Nov 2017, my stepmom went to the venue to see where the sun would be so we could figure out when to start our ceremony. Once she got there there was a huge tent on top of the hill that was promised that would be taken down in time and our wedding would still be on the hill. The PGA tour was the last week of Oct and my wedding was the first week of Nov. in Jan 2018 I get a message from a lady named Sheena stating that she is the new wedding coordinator and that Bailey had left. I drove all the way to the wedding venue to meet with Sheena so we were on the same page with the wedding. Two weeks or so later I get another email stating she was leaving and they did not have another wedding coordinator until March 2018. In March I drive to meet with the new coordinator, Natalie, and she promises me that she would be there until the wedding. In the mean time they start asking how many wedding coordinators I have talked to and then I realized there were at least one or two more wedding coordinators that I had not even known about in between because no one emailed me to let me know. So if I hadn't heard from Sheena, I would not had even known that Bailey left. Then in April they email my stepmom, not me, to let her know that the tent that we were promised would be down in time would not be down in time and we cannot get married on the hill. We would have to get married in the garden area down and around the corner. Being now that the wedding was less than six months away and I already had everything else done (cake, flowers, etc.) it was too late, and too expensive, to try to find a new venue. The venue gives you a list of venders they work with and a lot is included in their package, including the flowers. and sometime in may the florist got bought out and had a new owner, and again no one emailed me to let me know. And Natalie had to message all the venders multiple times to reach out to me. I did not even hear form the pianist until three days before the wedding. Like I said, Natalie was VERY helpful and came in when everything else was going really bad but tried to help me in anyway she could. But her last day there was my wedding so she isn't there anymore. I would just like to say, if you are going to book your wedding there, do your research! read the reviews. And do NOT book in Oct-Nov. In the end the wedding was beautiful, but I would have gone to a different venue if I knew how all of this...
Read moreMy husband and I struggle to give Keri the credit she deserves when we tell anyone about our wedding. We loved the venue based on the gorgeous ceremony location and the perfect reception space, but we ultimately chose to book our wedding at TPC Summerlin because of Keri. We do not have enough words to explain how wonderful our experience was from our first tour to even today, three months later. Keri was the answer to every one of our wedding planning prayers and the entire staff at TPC Summerlin over-delivered on the day of. Every lengthy email that I sent to Keri always got a nearly immediate response with every question answered and sometimes those replies came late at night. Everyone on her staff was a terrific listener, a gracious host, and pleasantly accommodating of any request. My husband and I are in the hospitality industry, so we know a staff of this caliber is hard to come by. The food was outstanding, our guests never had to wait for a beverage, the DJ kept the energy going, the cake was dreamy, the reception space was perfect, and the best part – if anything did go wrong – we still have no idea! Being able to relax and just enjoy our wedding day was truly thanks to Keri and her team. We still hear from our guests that ours was the best wedding they have...
Read moreTPC's are suppose to be the top golf experience and this course is always in immaculate shape . The staff and pretty much everyone is professional to a degree. The practice facility is what I think is the best in Vegas. Greens run true a stimp of 10-14 on the scale. Super fast fairways and greens. No wonder why the pros after 4 rounds shoot 30 under.
The tournament use to be 5 days when it was Las Vegas Invitational. Where I seen Tiger win his first PGA tournament as a professional. Being a standard bear! I can never figure why Tiger doesn''t come back and play but after learning he visits Vegas very often and the scandal of all the women. Sugar Woods is my hero.
lol Back to course. It's one of the most difficult courses for amateurs. I have been invited playing here since 1996. It deserves 5 stars.
The TPC Las Vegas also is difficult but the fairways are little more wide open. Another course where the greens run true.
If you get invited to play this private course it's worth it...
