-2 stars for most recent visit! UPDATE: We went into the Bar @ trails to eat and gamble a couple of days ago and I was totally disappointed. We ordered our food which was very good just like last time. We spent between my husband and I $150 in gambling so when our bill came, we were blown away that almost all of our drinks were charged and not comped. I notified the bartender that there must be some kind of mistake and I was told no there is no mistake. You can have one drink comped per $20. Well we spent $150 between two of us in gambling and of course gambling $1.25 bets . I didn't argue and just paid the bill saying under my breath that that's probably the last $150 you're going to get from me, We are vocals and know what the unsaid rules of gambling are and I believe we were taken advantage of in that aspect . Unfortunately I don't know if I'll go back because I feel taken advantage of. -2 stars

So let me start by saying this is my second time being there. The first time we were there I had an awesome experience. Great service! Great food. So we decided to go back the second time we were there. It was exactly the same. Awesome service. Very generous games. Anna and Mike were on the ball as well as the rest of the team and I have to tell you this is the best French dip hands down that I have ever had. The truffle oil is a game changer, The tots were crispy and I got a side of their cheese whiz sauce which was great with the tots and it's a very generous portion I had to take half of my meal home. I just want to say that I have found my place and I love you...

I have always received very great service in this bar with the exception of tonight.. 6-27-17. Had a misunderstanding with the bartender my order was messed up and i was brung out the meal but was not right was not a big deal but it had been messed up about 4 times so i was maki g a joke of it and said chicken pointing at the meal like 5 times.. I guess that pissed the bartender off i had no idea. Then my wifes order was missing avocado so i walked over to tell him . I said to him the cook is droping the ball tonight he thought i said him and made a huge seen raising his voice in the bar at me.. Lol i thought this was funny that he could be angry about somthing like this .. I explained to him if he thought i was being disrespectful i apologise because that was not my intent.. As i was leaving i asked if i could speak to him and he came over and i stated i felt like it was no reason to make a big seen basically told me i was lying and asked me to leave the bar... I tried to tell him i said the cook dropped the ball today not him he did not belive i said that .. I would have no reason not to tell him what i said its not like he was going to fight me so why would i lie .. That would be a bad move and not for me!!! I was disrespect and i love this place .. I hope this will be my only negative experience here and would be willing to clear the air with him if he can talk and not get worked up..they made it right they are still the best in my book...

I generally enjoy going to local bars and having a drink or two and trying my luck at video poker. That was my intent when I went to The Bar. I put in $40 and played for about an hour and a half and had 3 beers. I ended up not winning, so I decided to call it a night. I figured I was going to be comped the beers, but was flagged down by the bartender. She told me that I had a tab and I told her that I put $40 in a figured it was comped. I've never been charged for beer when gambling because I don't abuse the comping systems at other establishments. I could understand if I drank a lot, but I had only three beers. She told me that it was one beer for every $20. I asked why I wasn't made aware of this and she said that all bars have that policy. I do know of a few bars that have that policy, but they either say something to the customer or have it posted some place around the machine. The bartenders then proceeded to "86" me and my friend from the bar because we were being and I quote, "a pain in the ass" for questioning them. Im disappointed because if I would have won they would of certainly expected a nice tip. If you're going to be gambling at this establishment be aware that they will nickel and dime you if...

In A Nutshell: -The Bar @ Trails Village is a nice place to go chill and grab a cold beer and munch on some appetizers while watching the game. -This is a pretty spacious place w/ indoor and outdoor seating. -The bar inside is pretty big. -It's a big square that can sit around 30 people or so & you will be able to see everyone across the way w/ TVs on all sides. -They have a decent happy hour menu w/ plenty of fat & carbs that pair well w/ a cold beer & the game. Overall, if you want to go hang out at a mostly testosterone filled bar w/ the guys this is the place to do it.

We recently visited the Bar when we were looking for a bit to eat while in the area. The Bar has i think 4 locations and this was our first time. Large bar type locals hangout where everyone seems to know everyone. Booths are all around the perimeter and we choose one. Luckily we arrived during happy hour and had $3 beers along with the best happy hour parmesean onion rings. We split a club sandwich with some great tots to go along with it. We will definitely try this spot again.

This was a pleasant find this morning before the Summerlin Parade started. While I'm sure the residents of the surrounding neighborhood are aware of this little gem, we'd never been here. The patio area was well shaded, large and beautiful. The food was VERY good and priced super reasonably. Can't recall the last time we had breakfast for 2 for less than $30. The portions were large and the staff was very nice. We'll be going back.
