I had my CV Axle replaced 10 days ago. In the process the tech broke one of the studs on the wheel. He had to bend it by pounding it with a hammer, then cutting it until he could break it off. I am not comfortable driving with a stud and lug nut missing!! The tech told me he would inform the company and they would contact me to repair it. No one has ever contacted me. They NEVER answer the customer service line EVER! They have a recorded message saying leave your name, email, phone number and detailed information for faster response! They never call back. The hi@yourmechanic.com email also NEVER RESPONDS. The only way I have even talked to anyone is to call as if I was requesting a new project. Those reps are very nice and try to help, saying they have escalated the case and requested the proper dept call me back. After 3 escalations, NO ONE has called back. I tried again this morning and the rep tried to call the dept responsible and he said unfortunately, there is no one available at this time, meaning...no one is answering the calls, and says all he can do is escalate the call again!!
UPDATE That service was months ago - I was never contacted - I ended up paying myself, a couple hundred dollars to fix what they broke! As you can see, there are as many stories like mine as there are good reviews! Do yourself a favor and save the headaches! These guys are...
Read moreContacted for front brake repair. Had several problems even getting the technician to show up in the first place which was the first red flag. After multiple attempts, a tech finally showed up in his own personal vehicle, hopped out and took a Quick Look at the vehicle and said that they couldn’t do the work and that it would have to be done through the dealership. Nothing else was mentioned and the tech left. I later received a text displaying a receipt of $150 for the “services”. I called Wrench and explained that I requested a front brake repair and they came out to simply say they couldn’t do the job and left yet I was still charged $150. They said they couldn’t refund the money as it has to go through a review process via their financial team which was ultimately denied a few days later. I had to contact my credit card company who did refund me the money because of Wrench’s well-known poor business practices and lack of customer service. They also said I’d have to get it done through the dealership yet I called Squeaky Brakes LV and they came out right away and replaced the brakes without issue - an absolute great experience. But with that said, I’d highly recommend choosing literally ANY other company than this place unless you want a subpar, abysmal experience with the absolute worst customer service you can...
Read moreDo not trust these guys if you have a newer car! My infiniti q50 had no prior issues, but after getting my spark plugs replaced by Carl my car popped a bunch of codes and my car was stuck there stranded. After he was done installing the spark plugs he was in a rush to leave, had me sign and he took off without letting me turning on the car to check it out. After I started my car i see all these codes and my car was in limp mode. I called Carl back but no answer, called Wrench and they said they’ll try to contact Carl to come back but nothing for 30 minutes. So I called them again seeing if they can send someone back and they said they can’t come back until Thursday. What kind of customer service is that? You break someone’s car then refuse to come back to take a look. I ended up having my car towed to the dealership and having it fixed. Dealership confirmed Wrench poorly installed the spark plugs....
