We ordered our food through the website for our office staff, our pick up time was 10:30 AM. We arrive to pick up our food coincidentally, right at 10:30. I know the time the website gives, is usually an estimate and the store had just opened as well, so I was aware I would probably have to wait, which was fine. As soon as we walked in, the staff behind the counters immediately looked annoyed and no one greeted us or asked for the name of our order. We were standing there for a few minutes until I realized they were acting like we were invisible. I approached the nearest employee by saying, “excuse me” and asking about how much longer for our order. The employee had her back turned to me the entire time and was literally speaking under her breath, making it very difficult for me to hear. She said it was a pretty big order and she didn’t know. We eventually got our order 30 minutes later, the burritos were falling apart and we were missing a few extra salad dressings we paid extra for. I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated at this location today, I am a loyal customer constantly treating my office employees to cafe rio. Cafe rio needs customer service training ASAP. I will be contacting corporate, this isn’t the first time I have an issue at...
Read moreI was so disgusted by our visit to this Cafe Rio over the weekend. We were traveling from out of town and were excited to be back in an area with a Cafe Rio. Our excitement was quickly dashed by the crusty food that was available. Nearly every item was either out or very low. The person making our food was literally scraping the bottom of each tray. Had we not been craving Cafe Rio, we would have just left, and we probably should have. Every surface was filthy. The glass that separated the food service line and the workers, the doors, the drink area, tables, floors- all covered in grime and fingerprints. There were several workers, so we couldn't understand how so many options of the food were low or out, and why everything was so dirty! Obviously they were not serving their employer well, and this was 2 hours before closing. We ended up asking for a partial refund because the food we did get served was cold and made our stomachs turn. The manager was nice when asking for a refund, and I appreciated that. I suggest upper management keep a better eye on this location. I will avoid this particular establishment in a future trip to Vegas. I love Cafe Rio, but this was beyond...
Read moreThis was my first time here, and I was hoping to score a nice cheap "taco Tuesday"-type meal, but unfortunately the deals mentioned online are only applied to the California locations?? Regardless, this place was packed during lunch and rightfully so! It's fun to see the tortillas being made in front of you, and you have plenty of options to choose from. It doesn't seem like they are staffed enough because it took me 30 minutes to get my food made; there's only one guy handling the meat, and one girl handling the vegetable toppings, and they were both completely slammed. I feel sorry for them, but this appears to be a management issue and land normally I wouldn't care, but it took way too long to get my food for a self-service type design whereas I probably could have gone in and out of a typical sit-down restaurant for lunch instead. The portions are huge, and you get what you pay for it because the prices are on the higher side that compared to another typical fast-food place. But at the end the day, if you want a burrito then I'd say save on the time and caused by going...
