Maryland City at Russett Library - Anne Arundel County Public Library — Attraction in Laurel

This is a very nice library with wonderful helpful staff. For those who live in the Maryland City area, it's their closest library. It's also just down from MD-198 and 5 minutes away from MD-295. It has a good selection of books 📚 (see pictures 📸), computers 🖥 with Internet access (see picture 📸) and a color copier for those who need to make copies. There's a meeting room (see picture) at the other end of the building with a hallway connecting the 2 ends (see picture). There is limited parking on both sides of the building (see pictures 📸) with more in the back. The building is handicap accessible and has handicap parking spaces. It has a small food bank for those in need in the back parking lot. Hours are: Closed Sundays, Mondays to Thursdays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Barring the library being closed on Sundays, I've been very pleased with it and would...

I like the library, the library is always a great place for me to go especially when I am bored, but now since we are in the middle of a pandemic, it's hard to even go to a public place such as a library, that means the world is ending and more people are at home, which is also not that safe because there are also alot of domestic disputes; this particular library seems alright, the workers aren't that friendly, but their ok when it comes to helping the public because it's almost like they have to or they'll get fired. It's better to be yourself and like what you do. It always makes it better for you and those around you because no matter how you may feel, you're helping someone else who may be having a bad day. This library is so noisy.The staff are nice and very attentive to customers' needs,but at the same time,they do nothing to maintain quiet in the library.They themselves sometimes create the noise.They talk at the top of their voices and are not mindful of the fact that people are studying.It is just like a market place.People answer phone calls in the library and the staff won't ask them to go outside to answer their calls.Please,if you have another library you can go to study ,go there.This one is not quiet at all.This library is the worst...
