This location has very POOR customer service and order drive up management. Either you get damaged or partial orders or you are waiting an EXCESSIVE amount of time for a drive up order to be brought out to your car. I don't mean the order is out in five or ten minutes...which is a significant amount of time...what I am referring to is having to sit and wait in excess of 40 minutes for the order to be brought out of the building.
As for the damaged or partially filled orders, those have been more likely to happen at the Laurel location than any other location that I go to and management doesn't seem to care. There are times where I will ask why they gave me damaged goods and the person handing over the order will shrug and tell me to go into the store and ask for a refund. Also, they don't itemize the larger orders in front of you to ensure they didn't leave any items behind or accidentally give them to another person.
Management needs to fix these issues or just shut down the drive up program because it doesn't make sense to sell the convenience of driving up and having your order delivered to your car in a reasonable amount of time, when in all actuality the employees are overwhelmed (overworked, more like) and cannot meet the expectations set by Target.
One last complaint that I have is the lack of responsiveness from management when they are aware that these customer service deficiencies exist. Instead of stepping in and coming out to the drive up area to let customers know there will be an excessive wait time and offering the option of bringing out the bags (or that customer's go into the store) they let customer's down in the lack of quality service, either in employee engagement or low product quality issues.
Customer's beware. If you are a loyal Target customer, this location will have you switching your allegiance and moving on to a competitor. I repeat,...
Read moreStore is usually well kept or there is always staff stocking/fixing things. Guest services is helpful and most times there’s no line. Self check out always have a line that moves fast.
I recently starting shopping this location more frequently and never had an incident until This weekend when guest services was busy and a man came out the back (assuming a manager or lead) The guests that came AFTER me didn’t want to cut in front of me so they just wanted to know where I needed to stand in line and he had a nasty attitude.
Told me that guest services was going to take care of their actual guest and then accused me of “jumping” the line.. that hurt my feeling . I ONLY shop and Target so I am always a guest even if at that moment I’m completing an order and I didn’t cut in front of anyone.
For the drive up customers it takes SO long because their real guest are saying they are going to pick an item up using one service and don’t so guest services have to go to different part of the store to get their orders. I did see that happen the 5 minutes I was patiently waiting.
Overall I still love target and I do like this stores remodel more than others. the two employees at guest...
Read moreI had over $150 worth of items, some grocery items that are more expensive at Target however I typically prefer to shop at target for convenience. There was not a single lane open to be checked out in. I had three small children with me and was told to use the self checkout. It took me quite awhile to scan all of my items and because self checkout is not designed for a great big shopping trip I held up the self checkout lane and had other customers frustrated at me, even though I had no option but to leave the store with none of the items I just spent time shopping for or to scan my own Items (which is difficult when the self checkout here doesn’t have a belt, only a small ledge to put a few items on. After the self checkout associate refused to help me I asked customer service if there was a reason for not having even one checkout lane open, they told me they that they didn’t need one open between 1-9 and they aren’t a busy store, it was 11am and the line was long. I am a loyal target shopper however I will be doing the rest of our back to school and further shopping on Amazon and at Walmart because using self check out with three children when having over 40 items is a...
