Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Maryland

Went in today, and was given poor service. The food was cold, and its not even that busy. And the girl at the window seemed to have an attitude and i was trying to ask for the specials, but they didn't seem to know many right off the back. And this isnt my first bad experience here. There was a young vibrant woman who used to work there ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE and took the time to ask about me and my family, I think her name was Synthia or Cintia, cant quite remember, and i know her because once, a manager was yelling at her in front of me, telling her she could go home because she told the manager that a man wasnt getting all his money in his paycheck and he wanted to know why or something rather the sort. and the manager told her she would cut her hours and days because she needed to mind her business, and the young girl said "he didnt speak english enough to ask her" Im sure they do under pay people, as do all fast food places who hire immigrants. its very unfair. that young girl deserved to be manager because she seemed to care about the people. most managers these days do it for money. your people are your foundation, you should listen to them. because without the small people, your place makes no money. I will not be back here again and you guys are a franchise, smaller company, you would think you people are trained more in customer service. go to the route 1 popeyes, at least with a cooperate one, you know what to expect and they dont feed you food left over from the night before(red rice,...

Today while at this Popeyes location in laurel I decided to use my app because i had points to get a free 6pc wigs the manager Maricela scanned my points and it took out the point and she still mention how i had to pay $7.41 and i told her no you guys just took my points it was for free wings. I ordered through the drive through where she decided to close the window while me and my friend was explaining to her that she took the points off and she should just refund the order and give the points back. After she closed the window we went in to talk to her and while we were talking to her she was saying how i couldn’t afford the $7.41 that’s why Im upset basically about the point when that wasn’t true . I asked her for corporate number and she refused to give it to me , she also refused to give me her name and was saying she was going to call the police but never did but i called them for her. The police were the ones who had to give me her name and corporative information. She also mentioned that she will come across the counter to fight my friend because we are asking for her to cancel the order and corporate number . She doesn’t deserve that position and everyone that worked there was always refusing to give us corporate number ! As i asked another employee he said to me “ this has nothing to do with me “ i will never come to this Popeyes again. There customer service is so horrible and Maricela shouldn’t be a manger . I like this place.. I take my son here whenever I come to Laurel to shop at Walmart. The workers are always so friendly and polite. I've never had a bad visit with them. Yeah, I'm going to keep coming here. It's Popeye's, lol So don't expect no pics. It taste so good, I don't have time to take pics, I'm trying to feed my hunger.. 😂

Today is Nov 3rd 2019. The chicken Sandwich came back out today. I was in the area so I stopped pass. The drive thru line was by the exxon gas station. So I went inside and the line was a little long. I stuck thru it and waited 1 hr 20 min. I got my precious, lol. I brought 6 sandwiches. I didn't wait all that time to buy just 1. The staff was friendly as always. The customers were actually pretty cool also. Was it worth it ? Yes! Surprisingly the sandwhich looked picture worthy. It also tasted really good, I was shocked. Although I won't stand in line again for a hr for a sandwich, I had a nice time and I'm glad I got a chance to taste it. After eating it, I was pretty full. It's a big portion of chicken. Not a lil chicken patty like the other stores. So now I get to see what the fuss was all about. At $ 3.99 this was alot for your buck. Now I can claim, I so did that...
