To be honest, I don't know why this site has such a high rating! The customer service is NOT great at all. I have pivoted my services from ZenLeaf to Curaleaf In Borderntown, since they really understand customer service, have informed staff on different strains and uses, and will go over and beyond to ensure customers get what they need. Let me explain: my license had recently expired, and NJDMV issued an interim face sheet license while the new one arrived by mail. A viable form, that can be used anywhere in the state. I walked into to ZenLeaf in Lawrenceville, with my expired license/and the NJDMV interim license face sheet form that has everything the license has expect a photo. The lady at the check-in refused to accept the form, since it was not an ID. I tried to explain to her why I had both sets of identification, and she would not allow me to explain or finish my thoughts. She didn't even consider scanning the intern license form. Nothing! I walked out in frustration, because I suffer from anxiety, and REALLY needed something to balance me out. I called Curaleaf, and they immediately informed me that my interim NJDMV license was a credible form, and as long as they could scan it, I would be able to purchase cannabis. Sure enough I arrived, the bar code on my interim NJDMV license was scanned, and I was able to purchase cannabis to help me with my anxiety! I thanked, hugged, and thanked again the Curaleaf team for not turning me away, being informed, and listening to me without any barriers to the conversation. I will never step into a ZenLeaf again given the lack of awareness, consideration, compassion, or empathy for their clients. Apparently, all they care is about profit and have not investing in ensuring staff are trained in every aspect of customer service, de-escalation, or bedside manners for clients who are arriving with different needs, barriers, and health issues.
Also, this site does not have enough Latino representation that speak fluent Spanish! I have been in lines at times, and have encountered Spanish people struggling to express their needs, and the staff looking at them like they are a nuisance. They only have one employee who speaks Spanish, and I have only seen him during the morning hours, and not in the night hours. For a organization that prides itself on racial equity, they are failing horrible at making sure the needs of people whose dominant language is not Spanish, have representation at their sites. Read moreFor the first day, and 17th order(8028986) of recreational sales... It was a pretty good experience. I love that dank smell that smacks you in the face when you walk in. The lay out was nice, clean and smelled heavenly. It was a little disappointing they only had three strains available, Modified Grapes, Super Glue and Ice Cream Cake, all Hybrids. I love my Hybrids. But a Sativa and Indica would have been nice. The budtender(43140) was friendly, knowledgeable and very patient. The system had a hiccup and management handled it right away. Expected when running a brand new system for the first time. The price though... Is high and Verano flower is not worth the price at 60 8th, including tax. It is not better then most Legacy market cannabis. Out of eight 8ths, 3 were on point, 1 was over and 4 were a .10 or less short. Overall the nostalgia was worth the trip, and the wait... I can't wait to watch the quality grow. Update.The quality has declined. It's been a year and pricing still does not reflect the true market value in nj. In NJ the average price for top shelf marijuana is $35 for an 8th. If your paying anything more then that. You are being robbed. Especially when the quality your getting is mediocre. 05/27/24 Zen leaf owners/workers no longer care about the customers. They fail to communicate any changes. Bud tenders will not offer discounts, unless you ask what you have available. Even if you pay extra for the membership, it doesn't matter. They have an elderly security guard. He needs a mental fitness test, learn de-escalation and proper social skills. He's going to end up touching someone the wrong way and cost the company a lot. Altogether, it's become to commercialized. 10/31/24 complete turn around from the last few visits. Glad to feel welcomed when I walk in. Troy was great and figured out the cabbage club discounts no problem. Great service. 12/20/24 had the best visit so far.. Tyler was very attentive. Read moreMan, I was the biggest fan of Zenleaf once I first started going and definitely once Cabbage Club came out I was all in, bought the highest membership and was frequent at the dispensary. But over the last couple months I hate to say there has been a horrible decline. Customer service was always on point, bud-tenders always helpful(95% of the time), and big plus being a Cabbage Club member. But I am starting to see the membership was a scam, sure they offer you a monthly and quarterly discount but other than that the deals offered are terrible. They only apply discounts to their worst brands in house and lowest possible thc%’s. Also since Cabbage Club has came out their products on the menu have stayed longer and longer, there is barely any new rotation of products on a consistent basis so you often find yourself getting the same thing, just because you know it’s what you like. I joined the Cabbage Club for the perks of skipping the line, getting the occasional penny product, and just to support the business. But I feel it was a huge mistake because if anyone else is like me, the most appealing part was consistent good deals on good product. But now I find myself often at other competing dispensaries because they are offering better deals to me even with me being a Cabbage Club member other dispensary deals are more appealing. P. S. It was very scummy to not put the whole menu on sale for Halloween at 31% off, all your other competitors menus listed their whole sites on sale and didn’t try to include an incentive to spend more money, aka spend 125 get a free horrible 8th we have had on the shelves for 3 months now.
