My son has been trying to get in contact with his probation officer for a week now. Leaving messages that do not get returned from Ms. Jackson. He is in school all day without access to a phone and at work all afternoon and evening. He wasn't aware of what time to come in for his first appointment and couldn't get a hold of Ms Jackson to find out. He asked me to call while he was in school. She was rude but said he could call back between 1:45 and 2:00 p.m. He did but she was not there. He left a message but she did not return it. When I called back to see if she had gotten the message, she was even more rude to me. She said "Do you expect me to neglect my other clients who are here just to wait all day for your son to call?" Since she gave the time window of 1:45 to 2:00 p.m., that gave the impression she would be available during that 15 minutes (not all day). She would not let me speak and spoke over my many times. Ms. Jackson finally said he needs to be at her office on a day the following week at a certain time or she would have him arrested. It seems sad that she appears to has no ability to communicate with people who are trying to figure out how to do things for the first time. She is rude to people who want to help a probationer to report. People with a power often will use it to push everyone down under their thumb. If she is burnt out or this is this normal demeanor then perhaps it is find Ms Jackson finds another...
Read moreI just spent $2,500 on an attorney because the person sitting outside the courtroom after I was sentenced did not know how to do his job I told him I did not live in state and that I lived in South Carolina and he told me okay then report to your local probation officer in your county where you reside and we will forward the paperwork there well that never happened warrant was issued 10 years later I was arrested on something else here in Greenville South Carolina and they said do you know you got a warrant in Georgia and I was baffled as to why because I reported to my probation office here in Greenville county as I was told to do by the way that the door as you leave and paid restitution and fines and reported to drug test for a year as requested by the courts in Gwinnett county but they never sent the paperwork to them and the paperwork here in Greenville county was at the old probation office and it was a paper file we didn't have computers here and somehow the paperwork here got lost so I can't prove it I went here or anything else and I had paperwork myself but it had been so long I finally threw it away but finally got it rectified after $2,500 for a damn lawyer because Mr Washington the probation officer there in Lawrenceville and his crew at the court didn't know how to do their jobs and I was misinformed...
Read moreDespicable! My fiance has been on probation a year and a 1/2 at this office after transferring from Florida. His officer never answers or returned phone calls. Never submitted the completion of community service hours, thus causing a violation of his probation conditions in the arresting county. We notified him we were moving, and provided our new address, with the ok from him. After we moved he never updated our new address on file OR my fiance's cell phone number that had been their point of contact for 10 months after getting the new number. This resulted in the arresting county issuing a warrant because after his probation officer was reassigned 2 months ago but was told by the "new officer" he wasn't on her caseload, it appeared my fiance moved and changed his telephone number and skipped out on probation. This is disgraceful. Due to their incompetence, my fiance was arrested at a traffic stop for a tag light 2 nights ago and taken to jail for the warrant that was only the result of his probation officer failing to do his job. Our first child is due in 3 days and my fiance is missing the birth...
