1 star because I can not leave a zero. I placed an order for an expensive arrangement to be delivered to a family member that is very ill. I have never used this florist prior as I do not live in the Lawrenceville area. Long story short, the establishment's delivery driver left the flowers outside in 90 degree weather without even a courtesy call. I understand that it may be policy if there's no answer at the door; however, a courtesy call is protocol in these instances. I was first told that a courtesy call was made and when I questioned it I was told they just leave the delivery at the door. Very unprofessional when someone is spending right at $100 with your business. I was very upset with the fact the the owner first lied about calling me and when he clearly saw I was upset he told me not to use his services again. Owner was not apologetic at all and was like just deal with it. He tried to over talk me and ends the conversation by insinuating I should have a blessed day. The nerve.... Clearly no one had to tell me not to EVER use this florist again. First and definitely the last.
Update: 8/8/22 (reply to owner's refutation)
BRANDON,
You will not bully me into taking down my review. After speaking with you 3 times via phone my review still remains the same. Zero isnât available so itâs still a ONE! In fact Iâm adding to it.
None of this wouldâve happened had someone followed up with me like I requested when I placed the order. A simple courtesy call is all I asked & I was assured this wouldn't be an inconvenience. Matter-of-fact, it's your policy. You did not! So quite naturally Iâm going to call and try to find out whatâs going on with delivery. I also disclosed in initial conversation that it was a large house so they may or may not hear doorbell/knocking.
You stated that misinformation is something you donât tolerate at âLovinâ. Well I wonât tolerate âLovinâ being rude, yelling & even threatening to go back and retrieve flowers that were delivered. Sir you are indeed a DRAMA KING! And the fact that youâd call my phone & continue to go back & forth with me after Iâve paid you $100 for flowers further lets me know that you have no âLOVINâ for your customers. YES I CUSSED! You were literally on your way to recipient's house to pick up flowers that were in possession & paid for. Your hostile attitude & demeanor was very unprofessional. You were in a RAGE threatening to go & take something BACK that belonged to my love one. How inconsiderate is that? Try to have some compassion & âLOVINâ for recipients even if you donât for the customer. My review had absolutely NOTHING to do with the recipient nor your assumption of me not receiving a "thank you" and EVERYTHING to do with the customer service I received during our second & third call. One thing we agree on is this, I will not patronize a business in which the customer service is poor. Stay...
Read moreI called today to order some flowers to be delivered to my mother this week for Mothers day. I asked for a fresh cut for around $50.00 and in addition to that I asked for two small corsages made of carnations to also be delivered with the flowers to wear to church for mothers day. I was told that the minimum for the fresh cut arrangement was $65.00. I went on to tell the woman on the phone that Lovin has delivered for me several times before and I was absolutely certain I had never spent $65.00 on an arrangement in the past. I then went on to say well maybe with the corsages it will put me over the $65.00 threshold. She said well it will, the corsages are $39.00 each. 2 small, carnation corsages, $39.00 each. I said are you kidding???? She said not at all. So I am asking, a fresh cut and two corsages are $143.00 without tax and delivery? yep. I said no thanks I will find someone else and hung up. I will never do business with Lovin Florist again and will make sure to tell others about this experience. Ridiculous gouging for mothers day. Shame on you.
Slander and hate??? you people are nuts. I actually work for a grower in the horticultural industry. We too have delivery vans, drivers and gas costs and have had the most profitable season in our history. Maybe you are doing something wrong.
The Lovin name was purchased without the same service, love and attention to back it and that is a shame. You had an opportunity THAT DAY to make things right and you chose not to and that was your...
Read moreThis place clearly does not care about customer satisfaction. I emailed them asking if they would be willing to deliver a $70 arrangement of roses to my address that was 12.8 miles away and they said no because they only deliver within a 10 mile radius. As if 3 extra miles was too much of an inconvenience. The worst part was their employee emailed me saying they would consider exceptions based on the order. Apparently $70 is was not enough for them. Considering the current circumstances we are all dealing with, you would think a small business would want to please their potential customers, but not this place. If youâre considering ordering flowers from here, you should consider going somewhere else. I have been trying to find my wife a perfect arrangement for her first Mother's Day and they just didn't care to go the extra couple miles. Very disheartening. Last but not least, they had this same review taken down from Yelp, so theyâre not allowing potential customers to leave reviews,...
